We have only used the Day Use Area. But there Day use is quite a good size for a family gathering. You will need water shoes as the river is quite rocky but shallow. The washrooms are kept clean. We go here as often as we can just to get out of the city for a day.

This provincial park and campground are well maintained. It seems small but has a lot of water taps and outhouses, more than most campgrounds. There is a decent playground too. The day use areas are small but the creek is perfect because it's slow moving. Group shelters are clean and big.

Love this place. Nice river good for floating. Lots of trees keeps sites private. Family friendly

We came here to float down the river. There's easy access from the campground, and a few little beaches along the water so there's lots of space for people. Parking is challenging later in the day; we parked at 11 and there were only 3 other cars in the lot. By 2 pm when we arrived back, so many people were parked along the road that an RV was having a hard time leaving.

Very safe water. It's slow and only chest deep at the deepest point. Mostly it's shin deep.

Great little spot, shallow water, clean. Good for kids to do mini floats. Easy to get to.

We spend 2 nights tent camping and it was great! There's a playground, roofed recreation area, nice little shop at the registration center, lots of paths, the river is walking distance from your lot, so is the washroom. Showers were closed due to covid but overall it is a nice place :)

The park is a good midway point between Edmonton and Calgary, making it an excellent place to stop and stretch your legs. The creek seems very fun to float down as well. Amenities such as picnic tables are available close to the river. But be advised, parking is very limited.

Great local camping spot. Right in the river with nicely treed lots. Coin operated showers and flushing toilets are available. Full service lots are available as well. Nice and close to olds so it’s not a big to come back home if you forgot something.

Beautiful camping spot. Exceeded my expectations. River had plenty of spots for quiet relaxing or letting the kids play, campground was fairly quiet and the short distance to Olds make this a prime "quick get-away". Only 90 mins from Calgary but feels a world away.

Great clean family campground. River fluctuates but is usually good for a leisurley float from the bridge to the end of the campground.
