Southview Motel

This place is like a cozy cottage with all the motherly comforts, a full kitchenette with fridge, stove, microwave and fully supplied with all the pots and pans, plates cups/glasses, just everything. Bathroom is stocked with bottles of shampoo/conditioner in case you did not bring your own and more and more. Very home like feeling. The staff were very friendly and you felt welcomed immediately. It is a very clean place. I don't give reviews but very rarely in life, but I just had too take a little time to show that this place has a very hard and dedicated staff that take pride in their business. Thank you Southview Motel. You deserve the 5 stars. Your labour is our rest. Cheers!

We received a lovely room with a fully stocked kitchenette--pots, pans, utensils etc. The bathroom even came equipped with toothbrushes and paste, something I have yet to come across in other motels (and I've stayed in quite a few 😁).

Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable. Great Wi-Fi and TV reception. Non-smoking room, but the balcony furnished with seats was nice.

We were evacuated from swan hills may16/23, the owners were very accommodating for our family and pets and put us up in their rental house which had everything in it , they were so warm and welcoming which made us feel comfortable, I can’t say thank you enough for what you did for our family, keep up the great work!!!

This motel has renovated kitchenettes that make you feel like you are in a cozy cabin and the owners are the most amazing couple I have ever met. I travel for work and stay in hotels regularly but in 20 years of travel this place is a first. The service is outstanding, the price is great and the rooms are stocked with everything a traveler needs. Rarely do kitchenettes come equipped with everything. I cant say enough about this place and the couple who own it. I highly recommend the Southview Motel to anyone traveling through or staying for a while.

There is free internet and the young lady at the front is super nice. She is friendly and the rooms are newly renovated with comfortable beds and really classy dark headboards. I would definitely come back here and recommend this to others. The price was really good compared to the other ones so i thought the rooms wouldn't be too great but they are spacious and bedding is nice, the young lady let me look at the room before i paid for it.

Yes. I did give this place a five star. I love the service. The owners are the kindest and most pleasant to speak with. Every day I stayed there my place was clean. They even washed my dirty dishes. The rooms are cozy and have plenty of character. I enjoy this place I keep coming back. And again can't beat the service.

We were concerned about lugging our multiple heavy baggage upstairs, as the ground floor was fully occupied. Our gracious hostess Nayna offered us a house that was on the property. It was lovely and well equipped. She and her husband were so kind. Thanks to them.

Came into town for a wedding. Didn’t know what to think staying here but it was amazing. Super nice staff. We got upgraded too a private house. House had 7 beds. Would be perfect for any type of road construction or rig crew. Full kitchen and right next door to Sobeys

A couple of years ago, I was staying at the motel. The staffs were very accommodating and friendly. The place was also, clean and cozy. Based on other reviews, this seems to still remain true. I would highly recommend staying at the place!

I've traveled for business every month for the last eleven years and my experience at this motel was so over and above due to the amazing owners that it shocked me. We were graciously allowed to stay in the quaint little house adjacent to the main motel and felt so at home that we stayed an extra night just to enjoy the property. I highly recommend to anyone who is travelling with a family to book this very welcoming 6 bedroom house equipped with everything you need for any length of stay. Amenities include a full kitchen with all the necessities to prepare meals,a washer and dryer, 2 bathrooms, brand new mattresses in every room, large new televisions in each bedroom with access to Netflix, parking available on the street or behind the garage as well as the property being adjacent to a Sobeys for all your shopping needs. Needless to say whenever we find ourselves back in Westlock we won't hesitate to contact these lovely accommodating people

The room is stuffed with things you might need. It has an apartment size fridge, not a mini fridge. The people that run the motel are nice. This is my second visit to this place. The price is good.

I stayed at this motel around the time the below incident occured and the lady who owns the place was telling me that some girl who was not renting the room was laying in bed with the do not disturb sign on door, she said that the customer who had rented the room had left and it was past 11 clock which is the check out time at almost all hotel & motels. I personally like this motel and think that these people are very kind and do their best to offer you the most comfortable and safe accomodations. The Non-customers such as miss rose who herself doesn't know how to speak english, discriminates others and throws temper tantrums write offensive reviews after trying to cheat businesses by trying to stay free..I'll have you know that you aren't the queen so don't expect to be treated like one by hotel owners when you surprise them in the morning as an unexpected, unregistered occupant, Your behaviour and actions sould have been reported to the police. Another clarification, I belong to the same culture as the hotel owners and we are NOT pakis!

Was there about three weeks ago and I love all the improvements to the place. Nice and quiet and clean. Plus the price is reasonable as well. Would stay there again for sure.
