I've been meaning to visit this museum tucked behind John Abbott for some time and I finally went today. It has a lot more than I thought for a small place. The staff are all volunteers who are very passionate and knowledgeable and excited to show us around, including restricted areas where they are restoring some fascinating projects. Definitely worth a visit with the family.

This was maybe not as modern, but very interesting. You can read many WW2 stories and try simulators. Not so expensive and worth it. Recommended to people passionated of planes.

Small but great museum! Great for aviation enthusiasts. Would be great to bring kids here. Second floor has a collection of old airplanes and first floor has photos, art, and small models.

Excellent place for kids !

museum with a history of several years, perhaps it is a small place but it contains a great history after so many years of aeronautics! very friendly employees and very entertaining place! I highly recommend it to take the family.

Run by volunteers who have a passion for preserving our aviation heritage. Lots of unique aircraft and displays to be seen. You are able to get up-close and personal with the aircraft on display.

One of the few places you can find a 104! I went there twice and the old pals there were super friendly and gave us a very informative tour around their workshop (the Bolingbroke Mk IV and Norseman). It’s also a wonderful place to take your kids to, as they have some neat flight simulators - great place for kids to explore the world of aviation!

A monument to the passion of the people that created and continue to enhance this museum. They've done a terrific job of restoring planes relevant to the region and country, and the work continues. Small, thinly funded, but they make the most of what they have.

I was not expecting much when I went to this museum located in an old barn on McGill's St Anne's campus, but I must say, I'll be going back again! Run by volunteers, we were given a guided tour, available in English or French, by André. He was extremely knowledgeable in everything aviation.
The tour starts downstairs with incredible paintings and models of the different aircraft from the beginning of manned flight. Then we moved upstairs where a few actual aircraft, parts and more models were located. You can see several replicas and restorations in progress and meet the people working on them.
If you're interested in aviation make sure to visit.
Open Monday, Tuesday and Saturday.

Not your typical museum. It's more of an aircraft restauration workshop run by passionate volunteers exhibiting their work. There wasn't a lot of people when I was visiting so they took their time and shared awesome stories with me. The museum also has what is probably the largest aviation library in Canada.

Though a little distant from downtown, the museum is still worth a visit because it introduces a lot of histories of aviation in Québec.

Quirky little museum with focus on Canadian and in particular Québec aviation history. Chatty and friendly volunteers eager to provide more info and history

Always a great place to visit. Grass roots working museum where you can learn much about Canada's role in the continuing evolution of the aviation sector. Bring your children, the whole family will love it.

Knowledgeable staff, very nice place.

2nd floor could use a bit of cleaning, as I was able to draw things on the dust-covered walls.

Wide collection of old aircrafts that have been assembled in a very nice way, with flight simulators (old and new), engines, and a thorough history of the aviation in Canada. The museum volunteers are super nice and they guided us and explained a lot of the museum items in detail. I'd definitely recommend visiting this place!
