This auto service centre in the small town of Stayner is BIG on high quality customer service. In the middle of a trip from Nova Scotia, and on a tight schedule, I had problems with a borrowed vehicle and needed servicing. Despite a full schedule with tire changeovers, Brad was able to fit me in and get me back on the road, with good wishes for the rest of my stay.
Many thanks to Brad and Gavin for friendly and helpful reception at the front desk, and to the service team out back for getting the repairs done in the midst of such a busy time.

I brought my car in to have my winter tires switched out and learned that my car needed a major safety repair last week. I'm thankful the technicians brought this to my attention and were able to fix the issue within a reasonable amount of time. The customer service and communication was stellar throughout this process and my bill was less than originally quoted. Lafreniere Auto Sales and Service is a gem within this community. Look no where else folks.

I have purchased a used vehicle from Lafreniere, sold a used vehicle to them, have my service completed there and always appreciate their honesty, and excellent customer service. The owner Andy is a pleasure to deal with. I highly recommended using this company. It has 5 stars from me!

This review is long overdue, and given how easy it is to write a negative review these days - buckle up for this one folks, this is far from that.

History: I've been going to Lafreniere for almost six years. Brad in sales , has always been my first point of contact whether I'm renting or buying a vehicle. He's been upfront, honest and very easy to work with. No pressure ever, and I mean that in every sense of the word. When I'm visiting for an oil change, he pops right over and has a quick chat with me, every time. That's the sales relationship I respect, immensely.

I purchased my truck from Brad just over three years ago, and only one warranty call since then, which obviously has nothing to do with the shop. It was fixed under warranty, no headaches , just easy.

Most recently I had a something fail on my truck, I had it towed over to them the next day and it was looked at almost immediately. I had a written quote followed up by a phone call within an hour of it being at the shop. Truck was fixed within a day (even though I was quoted two days, which was totally fine give the repair work needed) Brad / Gavin in the service department kept me updated throughout the entire process and advised on other small future maintenance needed but again, with no pressure.

I am, a customer for life, without question. Small businesses matter and these folks exemplify the highest level of customer service in every respect. I trust them 100% and have absolutely no problems recommending family / friends to them. Whether your buying, renting or just getting service, you will be treated like family.

So , if you're this far down the review page, I hope you consider doing business with them - you won't regret it!

Coady was very open and transparent about the truck options available at the time and made sure the vehiclewas in top shape prior to its transfer. My son needed some accommodations while waiting for his vehicle to be ready and Lafreniere stepped up to ensure that he was not left without a ride. Very impressive to deal with such professionalism. I'm impressed with this family run business and it's no wonder they have been around in Stayner for so long. Definitely keeping them on my radar the next time I'm shopping for a vehicle.

Josh was able to help me out with a rental at the last minutes of the day when my Jeep went into dealers for service. I live just outside of Tobermory and I needed a rental for 3 days. Josh had the paperwork ready in just a few short minutes & had a super clean car sitting right outside the door for me. Great rates & great service. Highly recommend.

Was in a tough spot with an old vehicle that needed lots of work, they were able to set up a trade on what I feel was an awesome deal, and delivered me a great product. Went through some banking issues to seal the deal, Cody was with me every step of the way, very patient, and he has a great sense of helping customers through the process. After 8 years of the best automobile service we've ever had, it's about time we wrote a review to share our experience with Lafreniere Sales. We purchased our beautiful Ford Taurus there in 2014 and it has been a gem!
