Superb customer service from front desk and also the manager Erin (apologies if misspelt). I was going to leave Rbc after visiting another branch earlier that day…. Good thing I took a chance and visited this branch!

Branch is always happy to help and take the protection of their customers and employees very seriously. It's refreshing to hear that money doesn't matter as much as the people that come through their doors and work there.

Quite possibly the worst customer service I have ever experienced. The teller didn't even know what pennies were. Go to the other Orangeville Royal Bank location.

Astonishingly terrible service. My partner booked a phone appointment with an advisor and he never called on the scheduled date/time. So tried calling the branch …but you can’t. All calls get routed through the call centre. Waited almost an hour before someone picked up the call. Person was apologetic and said she would try to help but in the end she just ended up transferring to some other person….and once again, on hold forever. As I write this have been on hold for an hour and a half. What a complete waste of time and what horrible customer service. Shameful and completely unacceptable for a big bank that reported a net income of $15.8 billion last year.

We were transferring from another major bank because we had issues with their customer service, so I called the branch, only to find out you can't actually call the branch. At all. They send you to a call centre, which I did not want to deal with. So I took it upon myself to go into the branch to make an appointment so I could get a new bank account, mortgage, credit cards, etc. Who wants to deal with a bank you can't call? Red flag number 1.

Made the appointment for the next day in the branch (which took WAY too long to accomplish for a simple appointment). Showed up for the appointment the next day and waited for 15 minutes as there was nobody there to help except one woman who was busy with a client. After the 15 minutes, 2 employees walked in, presumably from a break of some kind, and we were told that the person who we were to meet was at another branch entirely. Wow. Red flag number 2.

Okay, mistakes happen, so we rolled with it. We were told that the person was still at the other branch and available, so we got in the car and went to the other branch at C Line and Broadway. We told them we had an appointment and were asked to have a seat for a moment and someone would be right with us. 20 minutes later, while three employees helped two customer, my wife and I walked out. Red flag number 3.

I cannot imagine a more unprofessional way to treat a prospective client. I thought my bank was bad, but these guys take the cake. Caveat Emptor, people. At least I found out how they treat people before I wasted my time becoming a client.

The branch manager is completely unprofessional I can’t even believe someone hired him and gave him that position makes me laugh. Seriously the man cannot even follow up with a email or a call back after several months and time of waiting. The man is a complete joke.
