this has been our eighth year (maybe??) coming to tent camp in the field. well maintained facility, tons of activities, a beautiful pool. free showers which i am told is not common at other similar campsites! but what really makes it are the people!!! the loveliest humans you will ever meet, every one says good morning and welcomes you as their neighbors. love being ridged!

The owners, Grant and Peter, are wonderful. They keep the resort looking absolutely beautiful. The Social Committee do an amazing job organizing fun events all summer long. The Rainbow Ridge community is welcoming, generous, and supportive. The Rainbow Ridge is a little piece of heaven.

Hands down best queer place all around ...there's really nothing lgbt around the tri cities area. So i come here and have met so many people and friends along the way!! The difference between here and Cedars ...no competion imo😁

Such a happy placed filled with amazing people. Love going there whenever I can!!
As an update a lot has changed at the Ridge - for the better! New Cabins on top of the hill - and a great food truck addition in case you are just not feeling like cooking! The pond, the pool, the people and the pride. I can't wait to go back again this season! It is always a place I visit at least once a summer - and it never dissapoints!

As things start to come back to regular times - can confirm still amazing!

Awesome time and very pet friendly. Our puppy had his 1st swimming lesson there. He's a natural lol. They have a great pond for the fur babies.

Beautiful LGBTQ getaway with a range of accommodation options. I personally love the unserviced camp spots. You can choose private & treed spots, clothing optional, or front and center areas if you’re looking to make friends. Pool and deck is newly redone. Check out the new deluxe cabins too! Fun people, and all the comforts you’ll want and need.

Everybody is fun and friendly, campground is hugh and really dark at nighttime, there's a clothing optional area for nude sunbathing.

A very friendly, we'll maintained, adult campground for the LGBTQ+ Community. Great pool bonfire on Fri. Nights. Very well looked after.

Great time at this park. Well taken care of facilities, helpful staff, little pricey for a night having to pay per person instead if per site but all in all I would recommend checking the place out if you like to camp but want to stay within a reasonable timeframe on the roads to do so.

Great place. Friendly hosts. Well laid out rental cabins with good facilities including queen size bed, small fridge, window air conditioner (didn't try it out as temps were a bit cool), small tables, small couch, chairs and small goods cupboard as well as magnetic screen closures on door. Clean. Good washroom and shower facility with lots of hot water within walking distance of rental cabins.

I've been Ridged more than a few times. My besties have a seasonal trailer there so I come to visit a few times a year. I absolutely love it at Rainbow ridge. The pool is like being at a resort. I love the walking trails. The people though, that's the best part. Everyone is so welcoming and fun! The owners are part of the parks family vibe but are also super professional when it comes to running and the up keep of the park. I highly recommend.

The Ridge is a fantastic place to escape for a weekend! The river is beautiful, the pool is clean and well maintained, and I enjoy all the trails for hiking. Peter and Grant are friendly and great to work with. This place is very inclusive, and welcoming to all members of the LGBT community. Don't forget to check out the food truck!

Simply the BEST! The Ridge is a friendly, welcoming place to visit! The grounds are very well kept, with a beautiful pool area, lush grounds, and an excellent food truck. Lots of rustic camp sites as well as beautiful air conditioned cabins! Most importantly, the seasonals, guests, and the owners are incredible here!

The Ridge is a welcoming place for all, gay, lesbian, trans, bisexual people. There has been a great deal of attention paid to bettering the park in the past few years. It has an improved outdoor pool area, with areas to either lay in the shade or soak up the sun. The restrooms/change rooms are very clean and well maintained. The park has a weekly Friday evening bonfire in the camping area as well as weekly dances Saturday nights in the Dance Hall across from the pool. The owners and staff are friendly and want to make sure everyone enjoys their stay in the park.
It is only one hour and fifteen minutes from down town Toronto, and less from other places like Guelph or London.
Camping fees are very reasonable. And for those who do not wish to camp they do have cabins/ apartments / rooms (with limited amenities) for rent. All have recently been renovated by the 'regulars aka seasonals' through a decoration/renovation contest. The rooms range from elegant couples retreat room to a Wonder Woman inspired theme room.
The seasonal campers (regulars) are friendly and welcoming.
This park is often not top of mind when seeking an LGBT campground but should be. Everyone should visit even just for a day to experience this hidden gem.
