Hidden Hilltop Family Campground

I love this place. There is so much stuff like animals, a pool and they even have a big pillow thing to bounce on. It's also dog friendly.

4.5 stars rounded up.
Nice campground and a lovely stay. Nice lots, roomy. Lots of amenities for kids (we had none with us but the ones around seemed to be living their best lives).
Septic hookups would be better if they had a threaded fitting.
$5 per person visitor rate and not being allowed to bring car in seemed steep.
A ton of seasonal campers.

The overall of the campground were pretty good. Though the grounds are more made for Camper trailers etc. the place in its entirety are extremely tent friendly. Spent 2 fabulous nights in the lower B section tenting. Great seasonal folk all around. Only thing i wish there were more amenities for those who were tenting purely for ease of access even if it was a Porto Pottie. And even to accomodate everyone if they were just out walking or for the smaller children who potentially couldn't make it to bathrooms etc. All in all this is a fabulous place to visit. I'm sure we'll be back many times after this great experience with our 4 year old. (P.S., watch George. He likes to sneak out if you leave the gate open.) LoL.

I almost never give 5 starts but this is one of the best campgrounds we've been too. While at first I did think it was a bit pricey (ex: $10 for a bag of wood... but it was a good size bag, with different size pieces, dry as heck and burned slow). The sites were a half decent size, very clean, new playground, awesome bouncy pillow, swimming pool which they nailed the temperature, and the highlight was the petting zoo and the guy (Mike) that cared for the animals. He was great and seemed genuinely excited that the kids were excited. I can't say enough good about him because my kids loved him. For that matter all the staff was friendly, helpful and seemed happy to be at work.
I also want to add that although it seemed pricey in some ways, it's hard to complain when the staff is happy (can mean paid fairly) and they obviously put money into upkeep and repairs. We will definitely visit again!

This is an amazing place! The staff are super friendly, and kind with the kids. Anything we forgot to bring, they had at the office/canteen. There are so many things to do we didn't even get to do all of them! The facilities are spotless. They have grounds people doing rounds and making sure everything is good. Night time was quite and easy to sleep even in a tent. Lots are a great size! I can not say enough great things about this place!!! We will be going back for sure and you should definitely go!!!!

Great campground. Staff were fantastic, owner went above and beyond to help me out by driving to get me a hose extension for my black tank. This place has every amenity you need regardless if you're a tent camper or RV. Will certainly be back here on our next trip from Ontario next year.

This is amazing place to go make memories with family and friends, or even with your neighbors at your campsite.
Good prices, friendly staff, and SOOO much for kids to do, making life easier on us parents!
Loved our stay and we highly recommend it to everyone. We will definitely be back.

We stayed here as our first post-stay-the-blazes-home camping trip this year. Our first visit to this place will not be our last. The amenities are well groomed, with lots of available space and 3-way hookups. The store has a good stock of snacks and emergency camper supplies, and the staff are friendly. We enjoyed our visit. Access to the campground is easy and there’s lots to do.

Hidden Hilltop has always been a favorite of the family, we come here to either 10th or take the trailer at least two to three times a summer... It's great for adults and kids and the place is immaculate it's done wonderfully bathrooms are clean campsites are clean play areas are clean Rec Hall is clean... It's even great for your dogs they now have a whole section Dolph area down past the petting zoo that is in off Dog area that's completely fenced in so wonderful there's tree coverage it's wonderful!! And all around the entire property there's areas with the bags in case you might have forgot yours. The mini pot is fun the petting zoo the animals are all friendly and love to be talked to.. and they always have events for kids and for adults going on on the property if you've never been here I highly advise that you check it out and give it a try with your family and friends. And you can't forget all the season those are absolutely wonderful to just us occasional campers!

My wife and I stopped by during our east coast road trip. We were greeted by friendly staff whom are very accommodating. The environment is very fun and family oriented. Very clean facilities with lots to (events/activity board updated daily).

Great family campground!
Not far from Truro and masstown market is just minutes away. The staff are kind and very helpful. The part is clean and tidy. The pool is refreshing. The farm animals are great! Love it all

To the woman complaining about this campground !!!! We stayed while you were there and let me tell you what I saw.... I seen 2 ladies leave their children alone while going to shop at Superstore in Truro. Smoke up in the car when the kids were outside. I saw cell phones being charged in the bathroom while being left unattended . You went to a trailer and started banging on the doors and windows and even tried to open the door with your car keys . Did you even see the kids take the cell phone or the dog ??? You trashed the bathrooms because you to leave the campground and left a mess while being escorted by 3 police officers. I’m pretty sure you need to look at yourself before judging others and trying to start trouble when you were the ones that were wrong and behaved inappropriately while visiting this campground!!!!! Good thing people like you don’t ruin the reputation of a great place like this and that people still want to keep coming to this amazing campground 😊

Great place, nice mobile rentals and great events. Awesome for the kids. Went the weekend they had the yard sale thing on. Was a blast. They have horseshoe and washer toss tournaments. Totally going to go again next summer.

Bert and Jerry are extremely kind and helpful. The site is beautiful, but the staff was so accommodating and really went out of their way to help us with our RV. Would definitely return!

Beautiful, well maintained campground with lots of amenities. The staff are really nice here.

One of the best camp grounds I have visited. If you have children, this is the place to go. Staff are awesome. Lots of activities for everyone. Great lot's.well maintained. Even free wireless. Close proximity to masstown market. NSLC located at Masstown market as well. Pool on site.
