First time tenting at Princess Park and I was WOWED by this place. Great tenting spots in nice field areas, overlooking the beach, or in the apple orchard. We were shocked at how large our tent site was. The price for camping at $27 a night (2022 season price) for un-serviced was a great price and well worth the money.
There is a great little corner store on site where my nephew got ice cream and there is a great variety of items campers may need. The amount of fire wood we got from one bundle was enough to keep our fire going all night if we wanted to. Quiet time is 11pm and the campground does indeed go quiet at 11pm, however we kept our fire going well after midnight and no one bothered us or told us to put it out (we were keeping our voices down and being respectful to other campers).
Campers are friendly, seasonal campers are very friendly and welcoming. I was impressed at how quickly the kids at the campground included my nephew in their games. Speaking of kids, they have a big jump pad and a zip line for the kids which provided my nephew with endless entertainment. I believe I also saw another playground onsite, but we did not get to it because my nephew loved the jump pad and zipline so much! The beach is beautiful and sandy in most parts, though I do recommend water shoes or sandals if you plan to go into the water as it is rocky- this is normal on Grand Lake and anywhere I have camped along the lake has had a bit of a rocky shoreline.
Staff was incredibly helpful, pleasant and I cannot wait to return. Seriously considering a seasonal lot here or even just making it a yearly camping trip. VERY IMPRESSED and I highly recommend taking your family here.

Great stay at Princess park campground this weekend. We stayed at site 49 for the weekend which was right on the water and quite private. Staff were extremely welcoming when we got there. Staff helped show us directly to our camp site, helped get us backed in and we’re happy to answer any questions. Park is quiet in the evenings and looked like they had many fun activities for kids throughout the day. Thanks for the hospitality and we look forward to returning!

Its a nice beach. Kids can enjoy the place. However most parts are private and you have to stay in a small strip.
Lake is so busy as many people bring their jetski and boats. I don't think kayaking is possible because of that.
Parking is not available except roadside first comes first serves parking.
No restrooms available. No changing rooms

The park and beaches are pristine and welcoming, with congenial locals adding to the charm. A cash-only canteen is on-site for convenience. In addition, the staff is not only friendly but also ready to assist. It's a dog-friendly destination that's ideal for children. Truly a delightful locale all round.

This is my second year coming to the campground, and my family and I love it. The staff are friendly and very helpful.
It is a beautiful spot to come and visit for the weekend, or even park seasonally ( if you are looking for a permanent spot.) Prices for sites are fair and reasonable, and everyone is friendly.
It is very clean, and lots of space for children to play and have a good time. Public washrooms are clean, and have a shower in them, for people who are tenting to wash up.
In all, I give it a 5 star rating because of the sheer beauty and the wonderful memories you can make while visiting.

We had an amazing weekend. Staff was so friendly and went out of their way to help us if we had a problem. They had cardboard box boat contest that was so fun were going back next year. And every camper we met were just so friendly like we have never seen elsewhere.
