Pioneer Lodge & Log Cabins

My partner and I stayed at The Pioneer Lodge this past weekend and were thrilled by how peaceful, quiet, and accommodating our stay was! The food was excellent with a lot of attention to detail, care and love cooked into everything. The rooms were more than sufficient, rustic but that’s what we like. We booked two romantic packages and found two nights with no need to cook or even to pack more than a couple of snacks perfect. Just the right amount of time to explore and relax.

We were pleasantly surprised to find the lodge and gains while travelling on motorcycles.
We were early greeted by the owner Lutz and made to feel welcome. The cabin was clean and comfortable and after settling in we were able to sit outside in the beautiful quiet surroundings. I would recommend thus stay as a great place for a quiet retreat.

Excellent service, lovely quiet location, great German food!

We stayed two nights, and took advantage of the Pioneer Lodge's "Romantic getaway" package. We had a wonderful time talking with the owners and their German food was excellent.

We stayed there for a full week with our 4 kids and it was such a wonderful week. The cabins are cozy and the kids enjoyed Daisy the dog that kept us company when we were outside! The food was absolutely delicious. Nothing but great service. We will for sure go back!!!

We recently stayed at the Pioneer Lodge with a party of 10. Wonderful to be welcomed by our friendly hosts and treated so nicely. Supper was delicious and served in a beautiful room. The cabins were exactly what we needed after a long hike. Unfortunately the musicians we brought with us weren't that good. We will be back soon. Thank you again.

Nice gem tucked away in a peaceful nature setting. Cabins were comfortable and cosy, and lots of room for two couples or family of 5.. Great German cuisine provided by our excellent hosts Barbara and Lutz. Wife and I had a great time with our friends.

This is a great getaway for anyone to unwind and soak up everything mother nature has to offer. The owners go above and beyond to make your stay comfortable and memorable.

The food was absolutely fantastic!!! The cabins were exactly what we were looking for. Very reasonably priced!! Great if your looking for peaceful getaway in the NB wilderness. We'll be back maybe for a snow shoe in the winter. Thanks again Barbara and Lutz

Lovely getaway! The owners are so friendly! I highly recommend eating if you stay, the food was amazing!!

Adam and Amanda are a sweet, energetic young couple. They love to spoil their guests with individual attention and the food that Adam cooks is delicious home cooked food. Amanda makes her own bread and the Newfoundland toutan and molasses is so good!! We plan on visiting here again.

Best kept secret in New Brunswick. Beautiful area. Such a peaceful place to relax and "get away from it all. I wish I had more time to explore. The owners are super friendly and you will meet Daisy, the friendliest, most loveable dog❤

Amanda and Adam are great! Fun atmosphere, good food and the pioneer signature drink is a must try!

I was stuck near by and they let me in until i get help. They were very helpful. Girl there treated us very great. I can’t be thankful enough for there help.
