Writing as a legal professional - compared to the courts in Toronto, the staff here are a delight. Administrators are actually reachable and helpful to boot. I'm always relieved to see my client is in this jurisdiction because admin problems and file queries are MUCH easier to resolve!

Great staff. Just wanted to comment on a incident between a clerk and a client I witnessed on September 29th 2016. At the civil counter. A woman claiming to be a social worker, was told that if your papers aren't filled out correctly or if your missing paperwork... then you must go correct it and come back to the counter once it's completed.

This client did not like that rule. The client started speaking rudely to the clerk. Proceeded to ask for a manager. From what I saw the court clerk hanlndled her responsibilities in a mature and respectfull manner. Not everyone likes following rules. That being said, there enforced for a reason.

Well done to the clerk that day for keeping her composure when dealing with a verbally abusive client.

Our company Mortgage Broker Store stopped an eviction in Newmarket. We contacted the Sherrif's Office and the lawyers. The court office gave us the information the same day.
