My two year old had a great time today. She LOVED feeding the animals almost as she loved the berries. We weren’t planning on picking any but after seeing her devour some Saskatoon pie from the treat shop, i knew we needed to bring home a basket of our own. We also took home some haskap and Saskatoon rhubarb muffins and they are delicious! The staff was phenomenal. Even though it was busy the girls at the ticket counter were patient and thorough at explaining the amenities to all the guests with questions. There’s also quite the collection of outdoor toys for the younger kids to play with. So excited to have found this little gem of a place so close to home. Bringing my husband with us next week!

$5 to pet goats and miniature ponies, wander along rows of veggies, herbs, berries, sunflowers, etc… vs $200 for a one hour therapy session. Therapy is awesome but hell, I’d pick this every time. Great for kids, cafe is lovely and has enough selection, pre picked produce is beautiful.

Took the family out to the farm for a nice outing before school started. We had a great time there was a wide variety of farm animals to see and feed.

There’s a great fire pit area where you can cook a hot dog ( available from the store). The park is good for kids of all ages, and was surprisingly accessible for wheelchairs.

Pro tip- the tiny kids get a free little ice cream in the store. So mom and dad have an excuse to get one too!

So fun for our almost 2-yr-old. $5/person, kids under 2 are free. $5/bag of animal feed. Free parking. They give you a little strainer to feed the animals to keep little fingers away from animal mouths. Low-cost concessions. Fun tire swings for toddlers. Highly recommend. Come early to avoid the heat and crowds. Don’t forget your sunscreen!

Nice place to visit farm animals like goats, sheeps, ponies, rabbits, chickens, roosters, ducks and even speaking cockatoo. You can feed them. And extra bonus is the playyard with plain and robot. So far one of the favorite place for trip with toddler. The staff really nice, please check if they are opened before go. Have a great trip to everyone.

A bondfire area too... Over all great experience.. BUT MOST IMP : CARRY BUGSPRAY... U don't want urself and ur kid instead of enjoying... Scratching urself... The staff is really awesome... In case u don't get ur own bugspray.. u can get it form the garden center for free.

Happy Acres is one of the better u-pick farms I've visited. Unlike most that only have a couple types of berries, Happy Acres has a wide variety of fruit, vegetables, and herbs. This variety allows them to stay open longer than most u-picks.

Coupled with their petting zoo and treat shop, it's a better overall experience too. COVID-19 shut down the playground and a few other amenities, but it was still a fun morning of exploration and discovery for us.

It's also pretty close to the city, which means it gets busy early, so plan on getting there in the morning if you can.

Great place to take our one and a half year old for a morning away from the house. Lots of animals for him to see. O and don't forget the delicious snap peas we were able to pick.

Great for family with young kids. The goat that they let him walk around was a bit too bossy, he would do anything for food. He would jumped onto the picnic table and eat your food.

Great little upick. Perfect for kids. goats, sheep, chickens, turkeys, cows, rabbits, pigs, mini horses and donkeys for petting and feeding too. There's always a fire going with chairs for hot dog roasts and a playground. Food and ice cream and stuff there too buy as well.

Love this place! Huge vegetable garden, saskatoon and raspberry bushes. Lots of animals, fun play areas for kids, fire pit for roasting smokies and hot dogs. No outside food is allowed (contact them for more information about that). A sweet shop with muffins, icecream, etc. See Facebook for what's available in the garden each day. 🥕🍓🥒🌶
