Monashee Outdoors

We visited Monashee Outdoor to find some boots for our son. They have the best customer service I have received in a long time. We didn’t think we were able to find what we were looking for but the associate was able to find us a perfect alternative. All of the employees were incredibly welcoming and friendly! We are so lucky to have such a great store in Armstrong! We definitely will be back.

We stopped by Monashee Outdoors just earlier today. The staff was exceptionally helpful and knowledgeable! They have an incredible selection of outdoor equipment and the customer service was absolutely top notch. I highly recommend the store to anyone who might be interested.

I have had a few interactions with this store over the last year. All have been amazing, great staff!! Very knowledgeable about what they sell and the services they offer, and if they dont know they will go out of their way to find out. Most recently I got a pellet gun serviced, and Ryan went above and beyond and did a fantastic job restoring it for me and at an exceptionally reasonable price. I honestly cant say enough about this store and the incredible staff! Which honestly feels weird because I am usually very critical when I give a review, but no negatives here at all!

Trevor took a lot of time with me to make sure I found a backpack that would give me the freedom to hike pain free, for longer. My limit was previously under 2 hours and usually I was struggling by then with pain. I'm a little person hiking alone, with degenerative disc disease, and it was becoming difficult to hike with the weight of a pack pulling on my shoulders. Trevor paired me up with a Deuter pack. The weight is distributed off of my shoulders and it's small, but sturdy. I carried a big water bottle and heavy binoculars and a bit of food without getting tired or sore. I came off of the trail today after almost 2 1/2 hours pain-free, thanks so much Monashee!

Great store. Friendly and knowledgeable staff. Well stocked. They carry two of my favorite brands, Rab and Outdoor Research.

This store carries nothing but the best. The have all the cool guy toys. The owner and his wife are just the most amazing people you have ever met. Every time you meet them you just wanna go camping with them. Everyone in there is extremely knowledgeable about the products they carry, and they just make it a joy to shop there.

I went into Monashee Outdoors just to look around and see what they had to offer for people who like nature. I must say I am very much impressed with the diversity of products for everything you could need to be outdoors . They have just about everything you think of and some things you never thought of. There's just so much to discover and staff to answer your questions. The prices are reasonable. It was worth the visit.

I have purchased lots of quality items from Monashee Outdoors, all were reasonably priced, and are durable. Their friendly advice can be trusted. You will be amazed at the amount of stock on display.

Shopping a Birthday gift without a plan, no worries I received so many great ideas and options from great inventory that Monashee carries. So friendly, awesome customer service without the pressure. Love this store, lots of made in Canada, everything for the outdoor enthusiast as well as the fashionistas !:)

Monashee Outdoors in Armstrong is a must see. If you need clothing, foot wear, or outdoor gear in general, this is the store for you! The products they sell to help you stay comfortable and safe while enjoying your outdoor adventures are of the highest quality. The staff are welcoming, knowledgeable and very helpful. We have always found shopping at Monashees a great experience!

Monashee Outdoors gave me among the best customer service experiences I've ever had. Lisa went out of her way to answer all of my questions over email and let me know when a particular product was back in stock. Amazing store and owners, highly recommend!

I often drove by this shop and one day decided to drop in. I found an excellent selection of quality outdoor gear for hiking, backpacking, hunting and other outdoor pursuits. They don't sell junk. The staff are great too. The prices are competitive and there is usually a great sale going on. The footwear selection is particularly good. Highly recommended.

I would like to take the opportunity to thank Lisa and Ryan at Monashee Outdoors for exemplary support to their community. I am a longtime member of the Shuswap Search and Rescue and Monashee Outdoors have always supported myself and our members with top quality equipment, advice and excellent pricing. Monashee also came on board several years ago as a local sponsor to Shuswap Search and Rescues annual fundraiser, the Banff Mountain Film Festival World Tour, held in Salmon Arm every fall. Monashee not only generously supports us with a cash donation but also with hundreds of dollars worth of outdoor merchandise which we give away as door prizes during our intermission. Furthermore, they support our local youth with an annual scholarship to students pursuing careers in outdoor activities. Monashee Outdoors is truly a local business that gives back to its community in so many important ways. Thank you Monashee Outdoors for all that you do making our community even better!

They are the only place in Armstrong for beautiful outdoor- friendly styles. Styling enough for work to the mountains/ski hill/hiking.

Amazing customer service and super friendly staff. One of the best experiences I have had at an outdoor store to date. First time there and felt like I've always shopped there. Tons of great products everytging you could need and more and on top of that the staff knows there equipment.

One of the last remaining local outdoor stores! Lots of great gear in stock and even more at their disposal. Knowledgeable and friendly. What an asset for Armstrong.

Purchased hiking shoes for family from Monashee Outdoors and loving them. Ryan and Lisa are awesome individuals, very welcoming, knowledgeable and helpful to find the right things one is looking for. They have a large range of quality outdoor products and I look forward to my next visit to purchase tools for summer adventures. Strongly recommend it!
