Stag's Head Liquor Store

Awesome store with a huge selection of domestic and import wine! Great variety of liquor too and probably the largest selection I’ve seen of craft beer! Massive walk-in cooler and they even have their own shirts and hats for sale! Super friendly staff and a great atmosphere.

So ya went there often nice selection super cold. I bought a handrolled $6.00cigar today i live 10 miles away, i got home and was going to enjoy a beer and a cigar. I was careful opening the cigar and it was so dry it pretty much turned to dust so i phoned and talked to who i beleive was the manager. I thought if they were to give me another i would moisten it somehow. So i told him what happened and he said if you bring it back we will replace it, i explained that it was dust in the garbage he repeated if you bring it back etc. i told him they should put something in there to moisten them then noone else would go thru it. He said we will probablly just throw them away. Really but he would not give me another unless i went thru the garbage and retreived the shrapnal. So the nice selection of cold beer is not enough to cover an ignorant management. I used to like this place

Way over priced now! Prices spiked in under a month 😢 used to go to it all the time but it’s almost cheaper just to go to Vernon!:( I loved the staff too, what a shame!:(
