Safeway Peninsula Village

This location looks great after renovations! It’s modern, spacious and bright. They added lots of new groceries, including some frozen meals I have only seen in US and some Eastern European products. Their bakery is pretty good. It’s now one of my go-to stores in the neighbourhood.

I drive to this Safeway from Richmond just to get great service. I am usually here first thing in the morning on a weekend. I am always greeted by one of the friendly staff members.
I don’t expect much for fresh sandwiches at that time on a Sunday, but there they are. Just made and a full shelf of them.

An amazing grocery store filled with eye appealing layout, surprising food specials, and huge delicatessen! Worth the few extra dollars for certain. The store is clean and the friendly knowledgeable staff complete this gem grocer!

The redesign of the store makes shopping a little crazy to find items but the store is light and bright and I appreciate the shelves are not as high to reach items.

Safeway is usually a good experience. They were doing construction in the store so things were a bit hectic but not too bad.

Good place to go for deals on meats. Safeway always has good deals on and good place to shop for small top ups

Busy store. Meat section is awesome and sale prices are the best around! Had a prime rib roast cut into steaks and they were massive. Each steak was over 1.5lbs!! So tender.

Always clean and organized, but kind of expensive. I guess you get what you paid for! No complains.

I really like this store. The categories are very different. What I really like about the Safeway is that they provide highest quality products.

with all the poor customer service out there lately especially with cashiers who don’t even acknowledge or look up at you, i was delighted this morning to have Tillie as my cashier. she truly is a breath of fresh air! thank you for your outstanding service Tillie. :)

Good sales and friendly service and staff. Has all your grocery needs and good sales. Having a deli and take out Chinese Food is handy for meals in a snap.

This is a great Safeway store. Wide isles and good staff. The shelves are always well stocked. I find it a comfortable store to shop at.
