Most scenic park of the Montreal with a great view of the Saint Lawrence river. I would say this is the best place for the stroll, relaxation from the busy life and wonderful location for the nature photography lovers. It looks very vibrant in summer with lots of activities, you can bring your own stuff and food. I have visited this place many times in summer, autumn and winter and have been lucky enough to get beautiful sunsets and moon rises views.

Best sunsets are seen from this park.
They are great for barbeques, kayaking, paddle boating and even for just reading a book by the park.
Just needs a restroom setup closer to the park, the one right now takes 40 mins to go and come back to entrance of park

🤗Back for a walk at my old hang out from my Montreal days…I would rollerblade here daily with river views on both sides, it was my happy place. I still feel happy to be there. There is actually a heated outhouse if you need one too.

The park is amazing. Has outstanding view to the river. You can watch the beautiful sunset. You are free to barbecue and have fun with your family. It is a good place for ridding bicycle, exercising, running, playing skate and etc. It is one of my favourite place to visit.

Very clean &cozy park, it's a nice place to spend time with your family. Be aware that it is close to the river it will be a bit colder than in the city, and mostly windy. BBQ allowed, BUT toilet is a problem, it's too far from BBQ places, apx 20-30 min walk.

Pathways and cycling lanes makes this park a must see in nearby Lachine. With views of the St Lawrence River and the historic canals, i recently spent some time photographing its' character using a modified camera. Whether you come for exercise or relaxation, the Park has many amenities and is accompanied by exceptional views.

Big and open park which is great as it’s not accesible by car, only walking or by bike.

It’s a great bike path around the island and river family friendly.

Not too many outdoor park games for kids

Visit the park every now and then especially in the summer. It is absolutely beautiful. With the breeze, it is very relaxing and fresh for people to walk, cycle, rollerskate on the assigned trails, or to have a picnic on the grass, or chairs, or the picnic tables. There are ducks and geese on the shore, and the view from the park to the river is amazing. There artworks in the park make an indispensable decoration. There are bbq spots close to the entrance. Parking is easy with meters. Sometimes the wind from the lake is strong. Bring a sweater. Toillets are found close to the entrance and the end of the island.

As always, this park is a great place to run, bike, walk, or just sit, eat and enjoy nature. It can get a bit crowded on weekends and holidays, but it's still well worth it. The ice cream stand at the entrance is worth a stop too!
