Cute little coffee shop / university bookstore. Coffee is delicious, ambiance is chill (before the students are back at school - may be a different story next week), great music, and super clean. If I lived in the neighbourhood, this would definitely be my go-to spot.

Lovely staff! I asked for a half-caff iced coffee. This wasn’t exactly on the menu, but the two lovely people working were really happy to put something together for me. It was really tasty. Loved the many vegan menu options as well!

The staff also offered to get a high chair for us, help close my coffee lid (since my hands were full) and were just generally so pleasant, especially since we came in close-ish to closing time.

Will absolutely be back!

Love the expanded space, beautifully decorated. Coffee is excellent and staff are really friendly. Good choice of baked goods and sandwiches.

Better prices on school books than most, and their used English section has quite a lot of selection. You can find a lot of classics for $5.

The staff is really nice and it's nice that they have so many vegan snack options, I just wish they had more vegan sandwiches! Every time I go they are out of the vegan Caprese and I want to try it so bad. Also, I wish that they had proper bike parking so I didn't just have to lock up to a sign

Had a half Tandoori sandwich for lunch, as I was starving and working near by. What a hidden gem! I know they specialize in coffees and teas, but the sandwich was spectacular!

Wow! What a gem cafe. Beautiful light, music, comfortable seating, plenty of tables for working, friendly, helpful service. New Ottawa favourite.

Great little café with a hipster vibe. Staff are very friendly and welcoming. Their cappuccino is one of the better ones I've had in town. Definitely a favorite stop when I'm in the area.

Beautiful spacious place with good variety of food

The kind of place every city or town should have - a comfy, friendly, low pressure place to read or hangout. Student-oriented and supplied with good cafe fair, too.

Very useful and convenient store, especially if you are a Carleton student. Located very close to the university and prices for textbooks are lower than the University bookstore. The consignment option makes it easy for you to resell your used textbooks.

Thanks for adding the cafe! The coffee - both the drip coffee and especially the espresso drinks - are really really good! Thanks also for having vegan & nut-free cookies available. So glad to have such a great cafe so close to home!!

This store is not only ridiculously organized and prepared every single semester, they have 90% the books profs want, they are super clean store despite the high amount of traffic, long lines that actually move efficiently, and overly helpful staff.

Every semester I can count on being greeted by a staff member with a smile and aid in finding books if need be.

Love the renovations and congratulations on your reopening. Great to have a local coffee stop for the WFH crowd, and others in the hood. I understand the 2nd floor will have co-working space!

Great store! Things were easy to find and it was easy to apply my consignment credit to my purchase. I'm definitely going to go through Haven now instead of trying to resell/buy my books through other means.

Such a cute spot with kind workers. The atmosphere is great and I like that it's a minute away from a bus stop!!

The staff members here are wonderful! They went above and beyond to help me get the book I was looking for. Definitely recommend!
