I've used Verona travel for both personal and business. I was surprised of the overall rating but I guess the small percentage of unhappy people are the only ones taking the time to review them. So here's my fair assessment from using Verona for 5+ years.

Alfie has bailed me out 3 times. Once in Europe when we were trying to get home earlier. KLM customer service couldn't do anything for me but Alfie was able to get me a flight home.

Then we were "late" checking in on a flight from Florida to Toronto and Air Canada had zero customer service. I couldn't get a hold of anyone from AC. Called Alfie and he arranged for a connected flight through New York which was the best available because it was Jan 2nd, very busy travel day.

Lastly we booked a family cruise and we had an infant that they didnt want to let on because she was borderline "too young". We were able to get a hold of Alfie on a Sunday and he spoke with the cruise operator and got them whatever they needed to let us on.

These are the reasons having an actual travel agent you can trust is so important. Hopefully you dont have issues when traveling but if you do Verona has always helped me get things resolved.
