Really enjoyed the selection for lunch. I was working in Linden for a few days and stopped in twice for lunch here. The first day I ordered the pulled pork sandwich. The bread was fresh and the sandwich was loaded with pulled pork and coleslaw, I had it with a side of portion of poutine. The poutine had a mild gravy loaded with cheese. On the following day I ordered the brisket . The meat was incredibly tender and the bun tasted incredibly fresh. While I was in the restaurant for my second lunch I discovered that they offered made in house pies. I ordered a peach pie for a treat when I got home. The pie was really nice, very homely I will definitely be stopping in for lunch and another pie whe I'm in the area next. I highly suggest if you’re in linden to stop here for lunch.

Such a quaint little place. Went there for pie and it did not disappoint! We tried the peanut butter cream pie and the blueberry. The crust on both were amazing and flaky and the peanut butter filling was the perfect amount of peanut butter and fluffiness!

When I visited there. I saw an elderly who bought six cinnamon buns. Just feel like I must get one, and it was the last one left. Love my cinnamon bun so much. Support local business

Delicious lunch stop! Friendly and efficient staff. The perogies are amazing and a good piece of pie to top it off.

Great spring 2021 outdoor dining set-up, friendly staff and an all-around great atmosphere. Perfect for lunch/dinner and some dessert to follow. Worth the trip, by either by road or air.

Certainly worth the drive out from Calgary. My sister and I had cabbage roll and sausage and our friend had the pulled pork sandwich. This is a hidden gem for sure. They serve borscht, perogies, burgers, salads and more. For desert we shared a slice of Peanut Butter Pie. Oh my goodness! What a surprise that was. It was so good that I bought a whole pie to take home to family to try. More trips are now planned.

Came for their creamed pies but had a lunch too. My wife had the beetless borscht I had a grilled cheese and chips my daughter had a bowl of cabbage roll and peroghies they were all delicious and there world famous cream pies as usual worth the trip. My favorite was the peanut butter cream pie. Real Iced tea perfectly brewed. Cost for 4 lunches pies and iced teas including tip under 100.00 . I love this place but don't get there often enough. Beautiful countryside . Make sure if you go to stop by the thrift store just down the hill . It's storefront is small but the inside is surprisingly large . It's like a step back in time. We'll worth the trip .

Terrific place. Food is homemade & locally sourced for the most part Portions were fair and the Service was great. I can’t believe people are complaining about this place. I had 10 perogies and sausage and my buddy had 5 perogies and a beef dip. We then demolished a piece of pie each. I had some home made sweet tea. Bill came to $75. What do you expect? McDs costs $20 each nowadays. I highly recommend this joint… to the person whining about “they didn’t refill my drink”! Hey did you ask? It’s a small town personable place. I found all the people working there chatty and friendly. And to the other cry baby lady saying she could get herself a ring of mundare garlic. You can’t compare eating a ring of garlic in your car to a dine in experience. Of course the dine in will cost more. What’s wrong with you people. Do yourself a favour and try this place.

We dropped in for the Sunday Buffet that is only open between 11:30 -2:30. It's an interesting concept, just sit at a table and they bring you your dinner plates. The chicken was tender and crispy. The sliced beef was really tender it would almost melt in your mouth and served with fresh homemade horse radish. There was a complement of fresh baked buns, broccoli salad, mixed green salad, mashed potatoes, and gravy. And to end it all they served a complement of fresh baked pies. I understand this place serves the best peanut butter pie, but they only had pecan, saskatoon berry, and apple pies today. You can order out pies and canned vegetables as well. I gave this place a 5 star because the food was so good. It is a bit pricey as it cost us around $60 for the buffet with a takeout slice of pie.

The staff were so friendly, and they Definitely created a friendly community environment.
We had the BBQ Chicken Pizza and the Better Beef Dip. They were both delicious, and came very quickly!

Have stopped here twice recently, but we have been coming here along our travels for years. The pulled pork and brisket are amazing! The poutine is also excellent! The peanut butter pie is to die for, every time. 🤤
