This park is named as “Heron Mango Tree” but I was delighted to realize that it harbors a whole slew of animals that roam free within the park.
The park itself is free of charge but some spots within the park a paid entrance, all at most 7BRL, including the watchtower.
Besides heron flybies, and urubus chilling out in the sun on the top of a boat carcass, I also saw a tucano, macaws, flamingos, iguana and strong vivid small bird named guará.
The park has more the feeling of a small theme park than a zoo.

Incredible. A beautiful nature preserve that's free to enter. There, you can stroll the beautiful gardens full of plants, birds, and reptiles from the region. There are 4 activities in the park that you need to pay for, but they are worth the price. The first is to go up a tall tower to look out over the park, river, and city. Next, is a place where you can get close to the birds. Third, there's a butterfly garden. Finally, there's a naval museum that is air conditioned. Each attraction is R$7 to enter or R$20 for all 4.

A very beautiful and organized park where animals are roaming freely. There are no cages holding them there. It's well preserved and pleasant to walk by. There are a few places inside the park where you need to buy a ticket to get in.

Very nice place to bird and animal watching! You will see a good range of birds and some reptiles there. It is a nice place to go, has restaurants and coffees and it is a place to chill out. Free entry.

A very nice place to relax and enjoy nature at its finest in Northern Brazil on the Guama River. You’ll find all kinds of birds, butterflies, and wildlife to watch and take pictures of as you enjoy your visit. Entrance to the park is free but there are several paid options to see extra areas once you are inside. But if you go to Belem, you definitely want to check this place out. I’ve been in the city several times but had never been to The Mangal dad Garças and definitely wish I’d made this a priority before.

One of the most beautiful places in Belém to see a variety wild life and get to learn about the Amazon fauna and flora. The staff is knowledgeable about the animals and are very kind. The place has a great infrastructure for visitors with restaurants and restrooms. This is a must see place.

One of my favorite places in Belém. This place bets on the conservation of species. You can see a lot of animals run free in its squares and spaces. They also have a butterfly and a bird house where you can come in and see the animals close to you. There's a lot of space to walk and visit. Just do remember to bring some water and some food, because you may have some trouble trying to find something to buy. Anyway, it is a wonderful place! I do recomend it.

Beautifully maintained and well worth a visit, good value for the entrance price and one can easily spend a few hours here and also enjoy a meal in the cafe or restaurant.

Beautiful park! It is free to enter, but worth it to pay a little bit for the pass that lets you go up in the lighthouse, bird enclosure, and butterfly enclosure.

Visit Mangas for a respite from the heat of the city. Advise bringing your own water or beverages because they are quite expensive in the park. However, access is free and you are able to get up close and personal with the animals.

Natural Reserve in the heart of Belém. Nice place to visit and be in contact with nature.

This is a great park to take a walk in. If you walk in it is free. I think you just have to pay if you park. There are plenty of animals to look at. Unfortunately when we went the dock to see the river was closed and also the tower (to get an elevated view). I'd still recommend it if you're in the area.
