Located in a discreet spot, finding the entrance at night was a bit of a challenge, but once inside, D.O.M. delivered an amazing dining experience. The service was excellent, with a comfortable and unpretentious vibe. Every dish was executed to perfection, and so was the wine pairing. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal.

Beautifully deconstructed Brazilian/Amazonian food. Wine pairing introducing us to a breadth of Brazilian and French wine. First floor and second floor have different interior. The first floor may be more suited for the complete DOM experience.

Such an amazing experience! You just got to experience it and go with the flow. You won’t regret it! Don’t ask for changes and eat it as it’s directed. Question nothing. They know what they are doing!

I will be back for sure!

I posted the menu so you can match the pictures with the items on it. I ate things that I thought I would never eat. Not only I ate them but absolutely loved them.

The Chef Alex Atala is the world’s best-known Brazilian chef and the restaurant D.O.M. Is Michelin ⭐ ⭐. So you can expect excellence!

He has an amazing story to tell the world and I highly recommend that you watch his episode on Netflix Season 2 of Chefs

Absolutely amazing experience. From the first to the last dish, nothing is obvious. At the end of the meal, no one is left hungry. Anything similar in Europe or the US would cost double the price.

Fantastic experience. As a tourist, it was great to experience a luxurious version of Brazilian cuisine. We did not take the wine pairing or caviar and did not felt left out. The wines by the glass are reasonably priced. With the current exchange rate USD/BRL, this is amazing value for money.

Third time at D.O.M. and for the third time I was delighted by their menu: a celebration to Brazilian cuisine and Brazilian ingredients
I was glad to see more local wines in the wine pairing
Service needs some polishing, not all guests are foreigners who can’t speak Portuguese and are unable to understand what the staff are saying to each other

Came here during a lunch hour because all the dinner reservations were booked. They offer a very similar or the same dinner tasting menu during lunch. The staff knows all dish descriptions in English and were all incredibly friendly. The dishes were a great unique twist on local produce, includes a Japanese Brazilian inspiration, and flavorful to the max. I was very full before the mains so pace yourself!

At the beginning of January we had an amazing evening in the D.O.M. Alex Atala took us to a culinary trip through Brasil. He combines the different Brazilian traditional recipes with Raffinesse. But he is not only telling the Brazilian food story, but also it’s own history as you can taste and feel, when you realize how he combines the dishes in the menu and how he and his team arrange them. Undeniably, you can feel his Belgian time in the meals.

The wines were chosen wisely and even a bit experimental, when it came to the Amazon fish and a really light red wine. This wine was chosen by the sommelier of the house, to bind the slightly metallic flavor of the fish.

The elegance and the ambiance in the D.O.M. worked pretty well with the arrangements and presentation of the dishes. The service was perfect and could answer almost all the questions which raised during the menu. The chef Geovane Carneiro gave us a small insight in the kitchen and took the time to receive our compliments.

Worth every penny. Took my mom and grandma here for a fun girls night and it was delicious. The staff are attentive and knowledgeable while the food is just all that it’s hyped up to be. I love how simple yet elegant the restaurant itself is. 10/10 would recommend.

Fantastic, couldn’t really fault. Wine pairing in particular was the most complementary I’ve ever had!

Fantastic experience at D.O.M.! Made reservations about 1 month in advance and the ambiance was comfortable for the exquisite food we were about to have. Had the large course with wine pairing and it was amazing. Food was prepared well and loved that it incorporated locally sourced ingredients. Service was outstanding!

Well, wonderful fixed menu. But I’m not a fan of salted fish though in Brasil it is a tradition. Finishing main courses were a big let down after the excellent courses leading up to the mains. Both fish (salted) and meat were really a disappointment. Creativity collapsed to mundane, and frankly not very good. Ruined what up to that point was an all star meal. Maybe in the next iteration the chef will not forego his creativity to bland mains. Do get the wine pairing…some really interesting regional wines. Service was outstanding.

I’ll echo what has already been said by reviewers about D.O.M.’s innovative and inventive cuisine. But what really surprised me was how intentional the restaurant is at trying to “decolonize” western styles and techniques of cooking. The focus of the food is distinctively Brazilian, but there are definitely european influences in D.O.M’s marathon of a 12-ish course tasting menu . It fascinating to see how thoughtful the restaurant is in substituting Brazilian regional fruits, vegetables, and meats for ingredients that may be more familiar to western palates (ie.,hollandaise made from tucupi….dessert sorbets made from creams of bacuri and jackfruit…cheese made from white cassava mold fermented for 2 weeks…the use of cashew tree fruit to infuse flavors of smokiness and tart into cocktails … and of course the unexpected pairing of açaí and Brazilian coffee grounds as condiments ).

The prices aren’t cheap here but to the restaurant’s credit, the portions are quite sizable , and you should expect to be very full at the end of 3 hours of non stop eating. (Remember, this is a TWELVE COURSE menu over 3 hours!)

Lovely! Food, service, excellent! Outstanding food quality, service was amazing, very accomodating and explaining every step of the tasting lunch and wine being served.

They did sit us all 'together' for a lunch service, all occupied tables to the side, even thought there was more room enough to have everyone feel a bit more private.

I went to D.O.M. in April 2022. Outstanding service, excellent dishes and wine pairing - one of the indigenous drinks they served was one of highlights of the dinner for me. Alex Atala is a visionary who’s pioneered the use of Brazilian ingredients - no matter how simple or unexpected they are. Learning about each dish is an experience in itself. I really liked the level of creativity, complexity and attention to detail. The sommelier was passionate and all the staff were lovely.
I wasn’t a huge fan of the desserts, but this is completely personal to my taste - I’m sure others would enjoy it.
I look forward to going back there and trying a different menu in the future!

Went there Soaking wet because had to walk under heavy rain before getting there and without a reservation, however, the staff not only accommodated us in the last minute, but treated us really well. The restaurant is small, cozy and well decorated. We both went for the degustation menu which included 10 steps, some of them were pretty good and exotic, and some of them not as much. The desserts were amazing. It was definitely a worth experience.

Amazing. 2 star Brazilian food, 12 course tasting menu 690brl. Is it expensive, yes for Brazil but it’s in line with other 2 star places. Is it worth it, yes.

This is by far one of the best experiences we ever had. Working in hospitality and been to several Michelin restaurants around the world, we can say this is one of the finest! Will was our main server and he was impeccable. The whole experience, explanation and atmosphere were so worth it.
Thank you Chef Alex Atala. DOM is one of a kind

I will only post a few picture so people cab still be surprise with the stunning presentation.
