For all the rock and roll fans and skate aficionados this is the place to be!! Lots of shops to see and buy from. I was finally able to find some Charlie Brown Jr. shirts! TOP!!

Great place to visit for rock fans (also for anime, cosplay, skateboard people) - plenty of stores with classical and unusual prints and designs.
The area is a bit sketchy but not dangerous - still a good idea to come and go with the taxi/uber.

You will find yourself in heaven in this place if you're into rock/metal music, alternative/punk clothing, jewellery, accessories, skateboards, sneakers, tattoos, piercing, etc. Plus some bonus pop culture and anime scattered around. Highly recommend!

This is not a boujee mall. You won't find versace or Louis vuitton. However, you will find awesome t shirts, tattoo artists, piercing, gaging, awesome cat shirts, and so much more. I found the mall a worthwhile visit. It is much easier to navigate than the other malls here.

Visited in May 2019: was a very nice place to do some shopping at stores you necessarily won’t find around the area (beware of some of the shops selling counterfeit brands; converse especially). When taking a few pictures, we were stopped by security and told we weren’t allowed to take photographs without permission. Was kinda strange so we left at that point.

Situated right in the centre of the city what appear to be not exactly the best area. Nevertheless, it is a outstanding place for fulfilling your favorite band merchandise desire. Prices vary, neither expensive nor cheap. There was a rooftop bar, good for a pint of lager.

So many rock, metal and alternative lifestyle stores. A couple of record stores with lots of rarities. My wallet did not thank me.

Good shopping center for the headbangers

Galeria do Rock is a shopping mall located in the city of São Paulo. It was established in 1963, with the name of Shopping Center Grandes Galerias. Located between Rua 24 de Maio, 62 and Largo do Paissandu (Avenida São João), it has 450 shopping facilities, with predominance of rock, hip hop and other music-related stores, which sell records, apparel and tattoo studios. Galeria do Rock is also a musical performance venue, being a meeting place for urban tribes or subcultures in São Paulo. The place was a location for the Rede Globo telenovela Tempos Modernos and for the TV series Aline.

great place for shopping, of you want a different kind of running shoes/sneakers thats the place to go, they also have am amazing sandwich shop with amazing fresh fruit smoothies to die for ans all with a very good price, they also have smoke shops, hair dressers and tatooshops, is a cool place to visit, just watch out some of the clothing and shoes are not the real thing at all shops it could be paying high price for an imitation piece!

Galeria do Rock my favourite place when I was teenage and still. Nice place to buy band t-shirt cd dvd etc...

There's nothing like it in the world, since my girlfriend loves metal it was like a dream come true for her, since even in North America there is rarely any Rock/Metal stores, much less an entire mall dedicated to it

Very fun alternative shopping area in São Paulo. Great place to come and people watch. If you are into heavy metal or rock music, there are lots of stores to shop in. Lots of alternative and indie fashion items like shoes and t-shirts, and lots of tattoo shops. The top floor has a place to drink beer and a garden. The garden requires reservation to see and they are not open every day so check ahead.
