Great place for a relaxing winter day. The staff is really nice and helpful. We were amazed by the food! The pizza is so great, like authentic Italian one. Highly recommend eating here when visiting for your spa day.

I had an incredible experience at Terme di Hissar in Bulgaria. This newly established resort is a hidden gem, offering a serene and relaxing environment for a perfect getaway. Our recent stay at this new campsite was nothing short of remarkable. From the moment we arrived, the host’s warmth and hospitality put us immediately at ease. The level of service was top-notch; it was evident the team’s focus is on ensuring guests have a wonderful experience.

A standout feature of this campsite was its numerous swimming pools, offering both hot and cold mineral water. It was a delight to have a choice between a refreshing dip in the cooler pool or a soothing soak in the warmer one. These facilities, coupled with the serene natural beauty surrounding the site, created an atmosphere of relaxation and rejuvenation.

Every corner of this campsite was a testament to thoughtful design and meticulous attention to detail. It’s clear this site has been crafted with love, and the effort put into making it a great place for camping is obvious.

All in all, this campsite has exceeded our expectations. It is the perfect blend of natural beauty and modern comfort. The host and staff have truly outdone themselves in creating an inviting, memorable, and high-quality camping experience. We can’t wait to come back!

Friendly service, luxurious, fully equipped campsite, we enjoyed swimming and sauna in the indoor pool during our December trip by motorhome

Outside of the season only the internal pool is functioning but it is enough for a nice relaxing day.

Awesome pool & SPA complex, which offers high quality stay. Everything looks stylish and built with attention to the detail. Pretty modern and luxurious without being intrusive. The service is also excellent!

Glam camping. Great staff, pools cleans and enjoyable. Food, plenty of choices. Wine tasting one night. Walking or bike to Roman ruins. Locals often spoke English at the spa and in town. Local museum ok. Local restaurants many to chose from. We had a great time. Love riding bikes into the very active town. All in all we loved our visit and booked more dates after week on the Back Sea. Price although high for some, included heated pools and location. Price per package good. Tops in service. Treated like family.

An amazing place
Few pools (also one inside) there are also salt room, sauna and so on;
Super green and nice, there are palms and rosemary, thyme, lavender and all kinds of flowers around the pools;
Music is nice;
Food is great and also the cocktails;
Once you are in it feels like heaven, you are not supposed to care about anything, but just enjoy and relax;
It's our favourite place to visit and it is great if you want to just relax, or to enjoy the time with friends, family or kids

Great place for families with kids, friend groups or couples.
There are several pools and areas, as well as different types of furniture - sunbeds, tents, bean bags. The bar service is top!
There are still some improvements needed in terms of organization of both the food service and the tents distribution. (We had an unpleasant experience with a rude lifeguard who assumed we did not pay for our tent, when in fact, we did)
Otherwise, it is a wonderful place! There is a camping site and an EV charging station, which is a big plus for people with electric cars.

Absolutely amazing swimming pool. You have choice of 5 different pools, with nice mineral water, sauna, steam bath and salt room. Different pools with different temperatures as well.

Pricing is a bit on the steep side, but I think the experience is worth it. A lot of parking for your cars and tons of space to sunbath or chill in the summer heat.

I will definitely revisit. Multiple times.

New Glamping Site?

I'd second that - it is truly worth all 5stars and well deserved title of Glamping (glamorous camping) campground

To be honest, I'd rate it 10/10 but stars go as far as five.

Why 10? Here is the breakdown:

1. Price-Value - caravan/camper for two 90lv (45€, as of Aug 2023). All amenities/pool services included. VIP pool zones are free for you, an extra charge for others. Please wear footwear and carry a towel when around - it is not only healthy but safe from not becoming a circus athlete.

2. Clean and spacious campground sitting area with cooktops and many tables and fridges. Free Landry - first time I find such services for free

3. Cold water to drink off a dispenser - first time I see such feature at a campsite. And it is local mineral water - the reason you came here :)

4. Toilet paper in all stalls. Really! You no longer have to walk across the camp site with your own roll, advertising your personal intensions :)

5. The fifth star is given to the site (see pics) - very modern, real grass bed, each pitch supplied with electric and sewer (two-sized drain for caravans or campers). No more dragging the Thetford around, goes right in. Do bring your own hoses and power cords.

I said I'd rate it 10/10. Here are the next 5s

1. Staff is very, I mean unusually very, polite and accommodating. Cuddos to the owner/manager who trains them

2. Town is 10-13min walk from the site. A stone-throw away

3. Campsite is dim-lit at night with 24/7 security cameras. Yes, you can leave your RV unlocked and open windows to vent with no worries.

4. Excellent Wifi through out

5. Well-kept and cleaned regularly

Did I mention the 3 best services? Hot/steam room, dry-heat sauna, and Salt Room, for those with breathing issues that can take advantage of...

Of course, let's find some "improvements", or it won't a be true review w/o some remarks:

- toilet stalls/bath partitions may not be enough if the site is packed with lots of happy campers

- sprinkler system, which turns on at night, wets the path to the toilet. Although you come out "dry" after #1 in the loo, getting back is a dance around the pop-up spouts. Do wear non-slips or else...

- restaurant offers only "fast food". I was hoping for more, especially at night. Com'on, you get tired cooking food while camping and want to do a sit down at an unfoldable (inextensible) table, with solid chairs, and be served...

I'd recommend it to all families, solo travelers, and quick-stoppers. Text me if you want to discover town and where the shops and best spots are.

Great pool and spa, well maintained and clean. The service is at a level. It is made with style and attention to detail. They have plenty of umbrellas, tents, barbarones and a well-maintained lawn where it is quite pleasant.

Finally found a fantastic swimming pool after many years of disappointments. Terme di Hissar is a huge place but divided in smaller areas. Quick help at the entrance where you get a wrist band to pay everywhere and everything you want on the premises. You decide how much you want to spend. Lovely place for parents with kids, right from the entrance, great large curved pool in the middle with islands with palm trees for people without children and a large rectangular pool as well. Heated pool and sauna inside. Chaisse longues, barberoni and beds with tents. Close to every place you choose, there is a wide variety of good quality food and drinks. We sat on the grass with beautiful olive trees and wooden parasols. Great coffee (Julius Meinl) and finally a barista who knows how to make good coffee!! Friendly personel and reasonable prices and the cleanest toilets I have seen in Bulgaria. This is the only place I will return in the future!

Great place with wonderful and kind personnel. The pools were very clean and everything is new and looks and feels great. The water is warm natural mineral spring and is perfect for recreational purposes.

I avoid swimming pools mainly because of hygiene reasons but this one won my heart! Sparkling clean, the water is the perfect temperature. The staff is so kind and always helpful and the kids really loved the animators. I am so happy we discovered the place for which we can finally say that worths the money. Amazing! Will definitely come back again!

This is the best pool park I’ve ever visited. Everything is very clean , brand new & well maintained! Service is at highest level, everyone are warm and welcoming. Food is delicious, especially try the #adoregelato - out of this world taste! Its heaven for the children here - a lot of different activities. Definitely will be my go to place 🥰

Extremely welcoming and kind staff, lots of space, clean pools, you can smoke shisha or have a drink in a bar inside of one of the pools. There's also an indoors swimming pool and a small street gym section. Probably one of the best places to relax during the summer. Prices are also good for the quality you receive :)
