Thermal Camping Velingrad

There were a few disappointing factors but the good far outweighed any negative comments and as such it still has to be 5*. The pitches were good, the showers were modern and clean, laundry included in the cost, dog friendly and some nice woodland walks directly from the campsite - and the spa was fabulous.
Unfortunately we found the staff businesslike but not friendly, the steam room was cool and had an unpleasant smell, there would not be enough campsite showers in busy season, the relaxation room had no relaxing lighting or music and was cold and as such not very relaxing, the massage was a little soft and again no relaxing music or incense as is usual. The rule boards should add "no petting" as there were some amorous couples in the pools and phones should also not be allowed as there was lots of loud "face time" that stopped relaxation.

I had the pleasure of visiting the thermal pools at the camping site in Velingrad, and I must say it was a truly exceptional experience. The setting is nothing short of magnificent, with the soothing embrace of nature surrounding the pools.

The facilities are top-notch, offering a range of options for relaxation and rejuvenation. The bio salt sauna, Finnish sauna, steam room, and thermal jacuzzi with ample space are just a few of the highlights. There's also a swimming pool, a children's pool with a jacuzzi, and a cozy indoor jacuzzi pool.

What struck me most was the pristine and well-maintained environment, providing a tranquil escape from the hustle and bustle of the city. It's a haven of peace and serenity, far removed from the noise and chaos of urban life.

In summary, this camping site in Velingrad is a beautiful oasis of calm, with excellent amenities and a breathtaking natural backdrop. It's the perfect place to unwind and recharge, and I highly recommend it to anyone seeking a blissful retreat.

We didn't use the camping, but the pool and SPA. It is of very good quality, clean, new, 3 saunas and 2 warm pools. One can buy snacks and drinks for Ok prices. Good place to spend your day.

After spending one year in campgrounds all over Europe, imagine our delight at discovering one of the BEST campgrounds right in a neighborhood - just one hour from our hometown of Sofia! We loved the campground. The facilities are top notch, the staff is excellent and the mineral water is divine. We were lucky enough to be there mid week and got the place largely to ourselves. Whoever thought to combine camping with spa is a genius. Incredible and very special experience. We’ll definitely return!

An amazing place to go with a camper! We rented one in Sofia and drove here. Upon arrival, we were mesmerized by the beauty of the surroundings, the great amenities, fantastic indoor and outdoor hot mineral water pools and perfectly clean saunas, the warm hospitality of the staff and, basically - everything! It’s an excellent choice for winter, but I guess it would be this awesome in summer as well. Couldn’t recommend it more!

We had a very good stay of 4 nights. The first and maybe only campsite with bathrobes :) straight from the campsite you can hike into the mountains or walk into town. And the pools and sauna are just lovely, we spent every afternoon the whole afternoon in them!! The toilets and showers are always clean and the washing machine and dryer work really good.

Great place! Best camping in Bulgaria in my opinion. The staff is very friendly and they make you feel like home :) Also they keep the place clean and tidy, all bathroom and toilets are perfect, witch I can't say for most of the camping on the sea side of Bulgaria. You have to visit this place. Very good for kids.

Just wonderful - very beautiful, very clean, all comforts are there and in perfect condition - washing and drying machines, electricity, shower cabins, kitchen and dining room with full equipment. On top of all that there's wonderful SPA with 3 thermal pools and option for ordering food with free delivery.

This campsite is wonderful! It is exceptionally clean and safe, has lovely outdoor pools- perfect for relaxation. It has a washing up room with washing machine and tumble dryer. There is a fabulous kitchen space with fridges and freezers too. It is very well equipped and there is a cute pub very close by to go for a drink or a meal. I really recommend it.

Excellent relaxing place for the whole family. One of the best camping places we've been in. The place has 3 outside pools (with mineral nice hot water) and 1 inside. You can enjoy here a thermal sone also and have a massage if you want to. At all this time you breathe fresh mountain air.

The place was lovely and well organized. The pool was great, it was clean and kept being clean. The spa was lovely, they offered plenty of services. All good things.
