Hotel Festa Winter Palace

Amazing hotel, and in a prime spot. Has excellent facilities too, like swimming pool, saunas, steam rooms and relaxation rooms. We also had a few massage treatments. Very nice.
The hotel was also immaculate , kept very clean

Big rooms and tasty food. Nice pool and good spa. For more than 2 children you should book 2 rooms, ask them to be close when you make a booking.

We stayed here last January and had an amazing time. The location is fantastic, just a short walk from the sloped. The breakfast and dinner was also very good.

Our room was upgraded and completely exceeded our expectations. We spent a couple of hours in the health suite, Sauna and steam room etc. Swimming pool was a bit chilly. The colleagues at the bar were always in a good mood and happy to help.

Just had a great week staying at Festa Winter Palace.
On arrival we were greeted by a friendly porter and receptionist, who we briefly spoke to most days.
The half board breakfast and dinner were great, there was a wide selection of good food to choose from which varied day to day (better than most of the restaurants in town!). The waiters and waitresses were friendly and seemed happy to help.
I booked a junior suite, it was a fantastic room, well kept - the cleaners did a great job.
The swimming pool and spa area were good too, perfect for relaxing after being out on the slopes.
We used the ski store once, again the chap was more than helpful.
For what I paid, I had a fantastic experience. A little maintenance around the edges would benefit the hotel, though didn't detract from our holiday.

Fantastic hotel. Beautiful decorated. Room spacious. Food excellent. We are in junior suite very large lounge. It was my birthday so my family asked for cake and wine with evening meal and it was brilliant wine and beautiful cake. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Service was great, they really care about helping and making your stay special.

The hotel is nice, contemporary decor is well maintain and gives the place a more classical view.

Perfect place to relax and escape from a busy live in the city.

Spent pleasant week in this hotel in February 2021. Great location few meters from ski slope and not far from Borovets village center.
What could be better: missing heated ski room, so bring your ski boot warmers with you!
Otherwise really great stay. Superb food, variety and really tasty dishes. You can self service yourself even during covid-19 times as you are required to use disposable gloves and face mask, very clever solution!
Rooms are clean, rather large and well heated. You can see that equipment is not newest, but still very decent.
Definitely would return there in years to come.

After seeing the mixed reviews online we were a little concerned about arriving here. However after spending a week at the hotel I'm pretty sure the people leaving the poor reviews are just a little dense. This is a five star hotel but maybe they don't realise that that is just a checklist. The hotel is ageing so the carpets are worn and walls have marks, however it's clean spacious and right next to the slopes. The food buffet was also significantly better than anyone else's we spoke to on the trip.

We couldn't believe our luck, we normally pay twice as much to share a bunk bed in a room in France. Here we got a junior suite and spent our evenings in the spa. Don't get me wrong this is no Hilton with all the finishes but it's great value for money. Also the staff were great, they're not rude, they're just not fake. If you smile at them and say good morning they mostly respond in the same way and always did their best to help when we had questions.

There's no doubt in my mind that if we go back to Borovets we'll be taking a look at the deals on offer at this hotel again.

Friendly, English-comfortable front desk staff. Warm and elegant styling throughout with lots of wood. Full spa and indoor pool. Great location minutes from lifts but not in the busy section of town.

Nice rooms, quiet place, good breakfast. I was in summer time but in winter I think is great because it is located near the sky slope.

Nice, antique feel ... Quite different from the rest of the hotels in Borovets. Full spa and pool.Spacious rooms. English-fluent and friendly front desk staff. Will definitely come back!

This is by far the best hotel in borovets, the hotel itself is beautiful, the staff are the friendliest and most helpful I've come across and the food is good it's consitant and perfect after a hard day on the slopes. Can't wait to go back

The rooms are spacious and clean. Tha spa is good. The hotel is right next to the ski track.
