Hotel "Samokov"

For the price you can't complain at all! Lots of variety at breakfast, although sometimes things ran out and weren't replaced that quickly. I would prefer if they had more drinks choices at breakfast too.

Good location, near of the gondola, but the service is poorly, room is old. The hotel is very expensive.

Even the rooms are old, this location remains one of the top in the area, especially for big events.

Absolutely brilliant hotel, not sure what the other reviewers are expecting for the low price but some people are never happy. The room was clean and spacious, with a comfy bed and a warm shower. It had a large balcony that looked over towards the gondola.
The staff where friendly and informative, the meals where okay, not great but I wasn’t there for food. Lastly the location is perfect, right outside the front door was my ski hire, the lift pass office and the gondola! So convenient. I had a brilliant trip and would 100% be back to this hotel.

Ski School with George was amazing! He made me feel safe on the slopes and taught me how to ski in 5 days (never done it before). Rooms are dated, walls are thin! But staff are constantly cleaning. Food is great for the price you pay. Would return!

The hotel is in a good location opposite the main gondola and a few minutes from the other ski area. The buffet breakfast and dinner were both really good, with lots of choice. The staff were helpful and the swimming pool was lovely. Overall good value for money and we really enjoyed our stay!

This review is only about the sauna and hammam. Excellent! With only 7€ it provides unlimited use of Turkish hammam and different types of sauna. They give also a hot towel. It has a bucket with vold water and very nice rest area.

Fantastic facilities and location, just a couple of minutes walk from the main gondola. Rooms were spacious and well equipped. Food was average but plentiful. If I had any criticism it would be staff attitude but to be perfectly honest this place was excellent bearing in mind it's a ski hotel.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I am really struggling, finding words enough to describe my experience over here. I was really impressed by the personnel - you can see really great service over here. Every little detail was carefully selected a d implemented in this Hotel. It also remains the good old times in my country. In addition, I would like to point out there is true chill out experience here. Nobody rushes for a thing. Everything is just sat, and you don't need to worry about anything. I was truly amazed by the various sport and spa activities you can participate in this place. They, basically have it all - finish sauna, aroma sauna, jacuzzi, you name it. I believe, this place is great for family trip, as there are so much activities for the kinds over here. It's a great place for weekend get away /escape/. Would definitely recommend this place to anyone, not only in the ski season, but going there would be the right choice, no matter when.

It's good value for money, clean, comfortable rooms with a swimming pool, ski school and places to Store your ski equipment also. Close to the high street and there are pubs/restaurants in close proximity. I enjoyed my stay and would go back as the staff were very helpful and friendly (especially the guy dealing with our lift passes 😊)

It's location is perfect :It is really in the center of Botovets, nothing is far from it.
The rooms are cosy, spacy and clean. The food is good. There are a lot of chill zones, and the Panorama's view from the 9th floor is fantastic. There are hidden treasures in: like old mirrors from the communism era,I really liked it.
Big surprize for us was, that the swimming pool's water is warm, so it's fine for baby too.
There is a ski depot- is useful! So u can easily slide to door.
It was a good vacation for us, and I'm pleased with our hotel choose.

Many great facilities. Although they look a bit outdated it has everything you could want. Many different types of massages, bowling, ping pong, olympic size swimming pool and many bars. Friendly staff and an amazing scenic restorant on the top floor with food to die for...

Very close to the slopes, right in the center of town, close to at least 5 good restaurants, plenty bars and shops arround to make sure you are fully satisfied. The hotel has a bunch of amneties for all ages. I strongly recommend booking a room here.

What a lovely hotel in borovets the rooms so clean and they are cleaned daily. The whole hotel is full of charm yes its dated but thats the charm. We had mario for our ski instructor for the week from the hotel and he was great.
Patient, calm and spoke brill English.

Great Soa facilities and better value than nearby Hotel Rila - sports massage, thermal rooms and swimming pool were all really nice - would recommend

Very nice hotel, very clean and spacious, nice crepe stand with flares kids very impressed. Ski equipment and ski staff to the top standard.

We had great time. The hotel is sparkly clean, tidy and organised. The SPA was great! Very friendly staff. Would definitely go back again

A nice place for good relaxation with Spa and swimming activities. Polite service is worth mentioning, as well as reasonable prices.
