A unique place. A small museum with an interesting historical exposition. Entrance for adults 3 leva, for children 2 leva. Possibility to buy cosmetics. In the area, there are beautiful views of the lake and the opportunity to get dirty with the healing mud.

This place is one of underrated Bulgarian treasures. It could be developed much more for tourists and also for local people. In an outside free of charge salt water "baths" we were max 15 people which took the chance to try them. Healthy water and healthy mud.
It is possible to buy some natural cosmetics in the museum.
Overall- there is no much to do in this calm and a bit strange place, but we spent more than an hour there. Recommend if you are not afraid of interesting smelling mud he he...

I’m not very passionate about salt but this is a cool place to visit.
The lighting is great for photos and there are a lot of birds.
I didn’t try the mud but it seemed nice.
The museum part consists of a video, an execution and a presentation that’s a sort of sales presentations for skin care products.
Worth seeing considering the price, especially if you’re interested in salt, history, or Bulgaria.

What a wonderful idea! One if three in Europe of its kind, this small museum tells you about the past and still in use today technology, all connected with the local history of Pomorie. One will also understand the different curative effects of the curative mud and its applucations plus can even try it on spot! Loved it!

Small but very interesting museum. For a really small entrance fee the curator will tell you the history of the place, will explain you how to and how not to use the mud and the lye from the lake. We had our discourse in Bulgarian but I guess he can do it in English as well. At the end of his talk he will propose you some natural products from Bulgarian Academy of Science which are made with the mud and lye from the lake nearby which was very good ending for me since I was searching those products for a while now 😁

Fantastic place, especially if you want to use free Pomorioan liman healing black torrff. Apply it all over the body and do not forget the painful and I'll parts of your body. Stay 20 minutes with it and wash it in the lake. It is healthy but you must get to know first what is recommended and what is not recommended for before application. Consult with proper Medical Doctor prior to use it.
I have not been in Salt Museum.

Very good guide. His history knowledge was decent. The exhibition materials could benefit from finding/getting some extra additions.

The mud is really helpful: for any pain, for good young skin. You can visit after 7pm it’s not that full with people and it’s not that warm :)

Cool historical place. You can see how is the salt made by a method about 25 centuries old (you can also learn this info in the museum). If you visit in a swimsuit, you can also take a mud bath in the lake next door and watch many of the bird species living here near the wetlands. You can also buy special cosmetics made from the sea salt.

Very interesting place, representing the 3000 years of salt making at the Pomorie littoral. More than deserved for such a long and important history of the economy of West Black Sea.

At the time white gold was hard labour. Nowadays salt is common as any other thing we eat. For me it was more interesting to watch nearby people covered with mud trying to heal themselves. As I know there are restrictions for people with cardiovascular problems and so if they are doing it under doctor supervision it's OK. But I doubt that.
