Ski & Board Traventuria - Borovets

Ski and Board Traventuria Fantastic service again this year. Many thanks. I would highly recommend them.
Airport pick up and drop up were amazing We had 8 days of Equipment hire and storage and skiing lessons for 3 days. Very grateful for the whole team who were amazing and very helpful for accommodating our late fitting. Including Julianna at the office, Georgi on the snow and Julian who picked us up and the team who adjusted our bookings.

The transfer to and from the airport was smooth and straightforward - the only problem being that timings wise - it didn’t coordinate very well with my flights so I had long waits at the airport with both journeys. But the transfer itself was quick and very reasonably priced.
Also - I booked private ski lessons with Traventuria and after an initial change in instructor - I was provided with an excellent ski teacher and consequently made great headway with my skiing. So all round - a great experience with Traventuria.

Awesome place to rent skis! The staff were extremely friendly and organised - we were able to collect our skis very quickly and get up on to the pistes, and the staff sorted any issues for us very quickly, included swapping some skis which weren't quite right for me. We loved the option to rent the skis and buy our lift pass in the same package. Also, the option to rent a locker is great, and made our ski day very easy. The shop is in the perfect location, right next to the gondola. Highly recommend!

Transfer was well organized and reliable and staff attended to emails and queries fast and efficiency. Extremely affordable as a single traveler. Links were sent with the vehicle details and meeting point. One small issue was that the driver was not at the designated waiting spot at Sofia airport. Fortunately there was another Traventura bus at the designated spot and the driver pointed out where my driver was parked. I will definitely use them again.

I used this company as a solo female skier on my transfer from airport to ski resort and back again.
I thought they were great! Quick to answer any queries, friendly, helpful and punctual. My pick up was slightly delayed due to traffic accident but the other Traventuria drivers were really happy to help me contact the driver and help overcome any language barrier.
Instructions were clear, an email is sent 24 hrs prior to transfer to tell you car registration and driver contact details

Traventuria did our transfers from Sofia to Borovets and back - all very smooth. Good communication beforehand confirming times. We also had equipment hire through them and our lift passes were ready to collect along with the kit. We were able to extend hire for an extra day to make the most of our late flight and the great conditions. Everyone was very helpful (&spoke English!) no problems recommending.👍🏻

Radi is a fantastic instructor! He was super nice, very clear, and made the notoriously difficult first few days of snowboarding feel easy and fun. We were complete beginners at snowboarding and just decided to continue with the sport after our 2 day trip - I believe he played no small role there. Highly recommend, 10/10.

Excellent service from Sofia to Borovets. The driver was excellent and on time. Very convenient pickup and drop-off at the hotel. The shuttle had a roof box for skis.

I booked a transfer from Dobrinishte to Sofia airport. Everything worked very well. Bus showed up on time, very friendly driver and he was so kind to include an extra stop at Terminal 1. All together a very nice experience

Second trip, planning a third which should say enough. Cannot fault Traventuria, they were excellent for both trips. Kit hire, lift passes, transfers & lessons all executed seemlessly. Staff in the hire shop are helpful and attentive.

We had a fantastic two-day class with Radi. He is the most patient, thoughtful and encouraging instructor who gives precise instructions to help you improve your skills. We had such an enjoyable time with him, and he has made me fall in love with snowboarding. After just two short sessions, we could comfortably go down the slopes; before then, we had no prior experience! The best thing that has happened to us on this short trip was getting Radi as our instructor. He's the absolute best!!

I rented a snowboard and boots from here. I also had lessons which were brilliant. So helpful. Staff couldn’t do more for you and were very knowledgeable about the equipment. Very kind and my lessons were so helpful - special thanks to Dylan ❄❄❄

Very positive experience. Radi was an amazing snowboarder & snowboard instructor. Was a group of 5 with different skill levels & he managed to keep up with us & improve us all. Always positive & always with a smile, very nice to talk to as well. Definitely recommend!!

Outright the best ski rental service in Borovets! The equipment is in a really good state and the staff is very friendly, helpful and kind. If you're looking for cross country ski, this is the place for you. Would recommend and would use the service again.

Great equipment we had drake and Burton boards. Brand new boots. Staff were so friendly and helpful. And it's really close to the gondola and short walk to ski lifts.

We booked 4 days ski instruction, ski passes and ski equipment hire via Traventuria.
We also booked return transfers Sofia to Borovets.
Transfers: Reliable and recommended.
We had a minor hiccup with the time of our return transfer, the customer team resolved the error within 30mins of us contacting them.
Ski hire etc.: Reliable and recommended.
Staff were helpful and friendly fitting our kit (boots, skis, helmets and poles), they provided our ski passes, and we paid for locker storage for our equipment (warm and dry boots each day!). Would recommend the services if you are skiing in Borovets.
Ski school: this was booked via Traventuria and honoured by Samokov Ski School, we were instructed by Scott Mitchell for 4-days.
As complete beginners, Scott was patient with us and helped us gain confidence each day. By day 4 we were on blue runs and feeling confident and composed after our tuition.
Really lovely tutor, very patient and expert, would recommend Scott to anyone looking for a tutor on the slopes.
Over all would recommend Traventuria for ski related services in Borovets.
This was our first ski trip, and our first time to Bulgaria - the team here made it a very positive experience.
Would recommend!

It’s hard choosing a place which can help you not only with your gear rental but also finding the suitable teacher. I couldn’t have landed a better place for both. The shop goes always that extra mile for you as a customer. My snowboard teacher Radi helped me overcome that first time snowboard barrier and gain the confidence and the needed skills to go to the slopes alone in only few lessons. I would recommend both Traventuria and especially Radi to anyone visiting Borovets! See you next year!

I booked "Full Snowboard Pack 4 days (lift pass, snowboard, soft boots, 4 days/2 hrs tuition)". Everything was perfect. Communication, the tuition, the snowboarding gear, the personal etc.

They are really helpful and always smiling. I had no problem with booking, payment or communication.
- Tuition:
I got 4-Day Snowboarding Lessons from Dimitar in March 2023. I never put snowboarding-/ ski- gear before and had 0 experience. After 4-day of training, I learned how to ski. Dimitar gives nice feedback and I can compare the progress with an instructor and without the instructor. I saw other people without the instructor who started at the same time but did not show much progress. The feedback and ability to do the basics without any problem are helpful to learn it properly. I had so much fun. I can suggest everyone to do it with a trainer.

They have nice gear and equipment. I don't have much experience, but never had a problem.
