Restaurant "Skabrin"

A lovely place! It has a warm and welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel like you're visiting old friends, rather than eating out. We had lunch and went back for dinner the next day. Tried dishes from the lunch menu as well as the main one. Everything was really tasty and perfectly cooked. I'll be more than happy to go back there!

Friendly family restaurant with a great service and food. I can totally recommend if you are in Velingrad.

Awesome place. Nice Bulgarian music making you feel the spirit of the place. Outstanding customer service from the waiter and waitress - giving you details and advices what to order and gives the possibility to get to know with the traditions of Velingrad. The food - I'll only say that you just cannot stop eating.. Even your smotach couldn't stop you :D finally the prices... Me and my girlfriend, we've eaten three meals and a dessert with soft drinks - hardly 15 euros. I strongly recommend that this place!

The salads were amazing! So fresh and full of flavour. So much so that we ordered another one when the main arrived!
The main was delicious and then followed up with yogurt with walnuts and honey for desert. A very lovely fresh clean finish to the food.
Along with two small draft beers and an espresso we were astonished at the incredibly low price!

A must for friendly local food including English menu! (Though I have a personal translator)

Great food and great service. If you want to try authentic regional Bulgarian food, this is the place. Definitely try any specials they have at the moment or their kurvavitsa.

Awesome food, everything home made, super friendly staff, you will fall in love with this place ❤ I do especially recommend the mushrooms and the leav cheeks with vin, garlic and cheese omg 🥰

Great food at great prices. Nice daily menu. There is a nice and cozy small inner yard, too - especially kid-friendly.

Had the veal steak with mushrooms and sauce. It was delightful with a half bottle of red. Had the owner put an espresso over their famous ice cream. Was to die for! Highly recommend!

Excellent establishment. The food was very good, I'd say even better than the one in the hotel we stayed in. The atmosphere is calm and welcoming with impeccable choice of background music. The waiters were extremely cheerful and helpful. We had a soup with some herbs we didn't want and they immediately recalled it and gave us a new one. 5/5 would visit again if a have the chance.

Delicious food, as a vegan there were many options. Spinach rice was amazing. Went back again before I left, would highly recommend. Very affordable and great friendly service!!! Located in the centre, beautiful views

Highly recommended place. We had lunch for two consecutive days, it was was absolutely delicious traditional Bulgarian cuisine. Everything was splendid.Do not miss the desserts, you will regret it ;) Service and place were great.

The service was perfect - we were warmly welcomed, the waiters were really friendly and the food was prepared fast. The meals are very delicious, the portions are big and the prices are reasonable.

Staff were very friendly and accommodating, had English menus what is always a bonus.
Food was really well cooked and tasted amazing. It was some of the best mushroom sauce I've actually had.

Unpretentious, family run, all day café and restaurant, serving good home cooking at very reasonable prices. Quality house wines fresh juices and salads. Came here for breakfast and dinner. Good hosts and English spoken. Recommended
