Excellent service, great food. I ordered meat, Ossehaas, which was amazing, medium as I preferred it . Salad was great, too.

Very positive experience. Actually we went there twice in two days. Service without any problems, the waiter doesn't Smile much but does his job perfectly. Really good food reasonably priced. Plus good Beer. Little too noisy but it is a pub after all.

beautiful and perfect location in the middle of the square; great food: in particular, the ribs are fabulous! I suggest the fish stew. Coffee served in a gourmet way!

They accept cc and the staff is very friendly and helpfull. Outside is really fun as the buildings around the square are so beautiful. The inside of the restaurant is also really nice. A place you will certainly go more often. Fantastic choice of my friend for having dinner. In den middle of Antwerp and Brussels.

You can park under the market Square. Check th e rates though.

Best steak so far (even better than some "Steakhouse" in the neighborhood). Friendly waiters, quick service.

Cozy restaurant at the very center. Probably I had the best steak with pepper sauce in my life. I also recommend the local Carolus beer. The staff is so kind and flexible, thank you much! I'll be definitely return there.

Experienced 4 restaurants on the market: Den Beer is by far the best service and sophisticated dishes, and wine list. Tasted the tournedos Rossini and the Chateaubriand on a second occasion. Chose the same desert special both times: vanilla ice cream in between two meringues with a coating of grilled almonds and probably some nougat/sugar, accompanied by warm cherries. Delicious all over. The service is outstanding and deserve special recognition, especially given the otherwise relatively lower average… At the higher end of the price scale.

Awesome placa with an amazing view. The food is realy good and the portions are big, sometimes too big 😉 but thats not a problem.

Excellent food and the beer is pretty top too. If you're staying in Mechelen this is the best place to eat imho.
