Van der Valk Hotel Mechelen

Went for the sunday brunch, and for the price it is an amazing experience! Big variety of cold and warm food, seafood, meat, and an array of desserts. Softdrinks, water, house wines and some other drinks are included in the price. Would definitely recommend if you feel like treating yourself to an amazing buffet experience

Stayed during our last conference. I had a lovely stay. The hotel is very clean. The location is great, it is close to everything. My room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious, ample of choices. The dinner was great too! Will definitely stay there again if I go back to Mechelen.

Excellent place! Although I stayed only a night, I liked the spacious room with comfortable bed and pillows. The staff was friendly and the site is well cared for. You can also have a great beer on site.

Really a place I like to come for lunch and have a drink afterwards in the bar.

Had dinner only in the hotel but great experience. Friendly staff, good food, fast service. Hotel is beautifully built around former municipal pool. Extraordinary architectural setting.

This is the new in thing in Mechelen. Had brunch here with the family and we had 4 children with us. It's not on the cheap side but worth every cent. Dinners in the same restaurant highly recommended. Give it a try, don't miss it.

Very refined buffet formula, ideal for bigger groups and small lunchers both. Kitchen staff was very knowledgeable about everything they served and could help immediately about food allergy questions.
The old pool is also pretty to look at, I like what they did with it.

It's a tough period, the hotel was on skeleton staff, restos closed, yet the hotel stuff did their best to make the stay the best these times could allow.

Bfast was as delicious as in all the Van der Valks.

The hotel is new, modern and very stylish. The bathroom is great. The rooms were well sized, although I think we've had larger rooms in other Van der Valks.

Finally, we could also install disney+ and our son appreciated.

My mother stayed for the night and was very happy. I ate at the restaurant with her and the food was excellent and more importantly: the staff was friendly and really helpful. Thumbs up!

Near the city, good rooms (but pricey) and okay breakfast a good experience over all

visited 4 times in the corona pandemic and they handle it really well. very kind and helpfull. Parking is easy (also for big work vans), it's paid parking

Great heritage place around an early 20th century public swimming pool, reconverted into a really nice hotel since shortly. Great also for a drink or decent meal!

Good hotel with space for conference. About 15 minutes walking from city center and near highway to Brussels or Antwerpen.

Nice place to have chilling evening with friends or date or meeting with workmates. Next to the river, close to the city center but also to the Mechelen ring. Really gooooood place 😉

I have been living in Mechelen for my whole life and i have to say that this is without doubt the best hotel in Mechelen, you can’t get any better here.
