Hotel Elisabeth

When we first arrived about one week ago, we were in a tough predicament with a wedding approaching and rooms for three people not being available on the days we needed them. Tina (I believe was her name) at the desk was so helpful and understanding, and she accommodated us in a way that made our stay at Hotel Elisabeth such an excellent experience! Her customer service as well as that of the hotel’s was unlike any we’ve experienced both in the States and abroad.

Mechelen being very nice and safe is also a huge plus for this hotel’s location. It’s within walking distance of the train station, cathedrals, and an amazing Greek restaurant. I highly recommend Hotel Elisabeth to all visitors!

We didn't stay in Elisabeth, but at it's sister hotel 3 Paardekens. We could store our bikes secure at Elisabeth.

This hotel is very helpful and modern designed and is also timeless.
The service was much better than I know from others.
It is near to the city.
I ask the reception for bothering me with some guests with noises at night. She handles the problem gently, and I sleep in peace.
The breakfast area is beautifully designed, like the whole hotel is. Also, the food is good ☺
I thought to come again when I'm in Belgium again.

From first entry to the hotel the experience is excellent with a quintessentially British appeal. The welcome was first class with a personal touch when ringing the bell for attention. My room had everything I needed, with the added bonus of an amazing view to the cathedral. If I could rate a 6 star experience I would given the exceptional service and evening recommendation of enjoying a leisurely Carolus.

I had the pleasure of staying at Hot Elisabeth for a week. We were visiting some friends in Belgium and I also had to work most of the days.

The facilities are exactly what I look for in a hotel. Clean, quiet, accessible. Not to mention the reception staff and cleaning ladies were lovely and made us feel very much at home.

The WiFi is better than the one at my house and they serve beer at any time of the day. Go for it.

Great hotel within walking distance from the city center. Clean rooms, with modern bathrooms, large windows and comfortable beds. The breakfast was delicious and had lots of different options. I can definitely recommend this hotel for your stay in Mechelen!

Great place to relax! Nice breakfast. After eating you can go for a nice swim in the indoor pool. Open all year round. (Wellness coming soon) Very friendly personnel and a few minutes walking to the center square. Very nice views too. Will come again!

Lovely hotel. Very comfortable and modern rooms, great courtyard for relaxing and super friendly staff. Very close walking distance to the center of Mechelen and Het Anker brewery, a big plus for our group. Also enjoyed their breakfast. Will happily stay here again!

Beautiful, very modern and quiet hotel. Very cosy and clean rooms. Staff are very friendly. Dinner and breakfast are quite good. We tried the New Years getaway package and it was perfect in these Corona times. Highly recommended.

Definitely my number one place to stay in Mechelen. The cathedral view room was sublime and the pool was a treat. Just unplug the fridge in your room and you’ll have a perfect night sleep

Stayed one night and it was fantastic. The staff was very attentive and considerate. Comfortable room and bed. Breakfast was great and the pool very relaxing. I would stay here again and highly recommend to any friends going to Mechelen.

This hotel was super swanky and nice. We were moved here after our hotels under the same company overbooked. It is only a few minutes walk to the Grote Market and Cathedral. The rooms were very clean aside from the usual dusty I feel is normal for European hotels for some reason. I didn't not feel dirty though. The bed was a bit odd. It was two twins side by side and the frames kept sliding apart. It was rather frustrating as a couple. Breakfast was great. It had bacon, sausage, eggs, bread, a coffee machine that brew different types of coffee, and pretty much anything else you could want. It was well worth the add on. The bar is open 24/7 and was quite nice. They have a small menu but it was still great. The bar also offers a few of the trappist beers. House keeping was great. Our room was well taken care of. Overall, a wonderful place to stay.

Nice hotel with a good location. They have different other properties as hotels and Guest Houses in Mechelen. There staff is courteous and happy to hear. Check-Ins ideally at 12:00 Pm and check out at 10:00 Am

Hotel is hard to reach by car. Hotel is perfect inside. Good sized rooms. Nice little details and touches. 24/7 bar service!

Good modern hotel right in the heart of Mechelen. Spacious rooms, spacious modern bathrooms and a nice front desk and hilarious quotes all around. They don't take themselves too seriously which is great

Very friendly staff during my 1 weeks stay. Room was clean, I only wish it got a little colder inside. Great location too!
