Even during the winter, this location is truly remarkable. I'm eagerly anticipating a summer visit to witness its peak beauty. The diverse array of plant types on display makes it a must-visit spot when in Leuven.

Holy moly! Completely stumbled upon this garden whilst walking around Leuven without any plan. It is BEAUTIFUL! Huge variety of flora and fauna plus sculptures dotted around. The grounds are easy to navigate as well as indoor areas such as greenhouses. There is even a compost space! It was so peaceful and lovely, I am so happy I accidentally happened upon it!

An incredibly beautiful corner, I had never seen such plants and flowers! And at the same time, visiting the botanical garden is free!

Beautiful botanical garden. Good for walks, office work with laptop, studying, strolling with kids. Peaceful and well maintained. Different varieties of plants and herbs. Must visit this hidden gem in Leuven. Its free of cost. Open everyday till 8 pm. Photography allowed. They also have greenhouses and slider turtles too.

Lovely little garden, perfect for a short walk. Has a clean WC as well.
Visited in August and the flowers were blooming in sweet purples and blues.

Beautiful garden with wide variety of plant species. Must visit during the spring summer season to see all the beautiful flowers bloom. There are cute water bodies inside making the visitor experience magical!!

Entrance is free. There is a toilet, also free. No large, but rather intensively used garden of Leuven University. It was established several centuries ago for growing plants fir medical purpose for students practice. It consists of several open areas with decorative and fruit/berries plants and trees and several greenhouses with tropical plants and flowers. You can buy a book about the garden and plant collection. If you like plants snd gardens, you can spend a pair of hours walking there.

A lush, green oasis in the city of Leuven. Not too far from the center of the city. It's wonderful for a walk, although it can be crowded during the weekend especially if the weather is nice.

The botanical garden is very well managed and open access for everyone.

Very good place to visit. Especially in spring. Flowers are blooming, and the garden is very beautiful. You can also bring laptops and work here as there are plenty of tables and chairs spread around.

Very nice garden. Built with love. We parked 2h for free at parking bodart veilingweg and walked 10 Minutes. Very recommended for plant lovers, friends and gardeners

After living in Leuven for the past two years, I finally managed to make it to the local botanical garden. And now I feel quite bitter for not paying a visit earlier! Though the grounds themselves are not larger, the garden is beatifully arranged and maintained.

Small, well maintained botanical garden with few separate glass houses. Fairly good collection of plants but for sure not big enough to be mentioned in top 100 botanical gardens.

Serves as a thorough fare for general public during the day time.

Amazing landscaping with many varieties of plants and trees. Giant maple trees and a huge greenhouse with plants that wouldn't survive the winter. If you like plants, you will love this place. Bravo to the gardeners that care for this place.

Great place to sit down and relax. With over 4000 species of different plants this is botanical heaven for plant lovers and the like. There is a nice small lake filled with carp has a relaxing athmosphere to it.

It is a large garden with a wide range of plants and it is divided into many areas both indoors and outdoors. In spring, most of plants here are blooming and full of colors. We can explore plants in different living conditions. I can find plants from my country, a tropical country, though it is far away from home now. It is totally free and there are many chairs to sit and enjoy the atmosphere here.

What a hidden treasure. A haven of peace and plants. Several gardens and plenty of seating to rest, read or contemplate the beauty of nature. And it's free!

My favourite place in Leuven, big and green. You can come any season and find bloom flowers and green fields. Entrance is free, very clean, good place to come with family or friends

I really loved it. It was really nice and very calming. Even if you just want to relax a bit I would definitely recommend it. There are many benches where you can sit and enjoy the view.
