Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Safari Park, Gazipur

The Safari Park is one of the tourist attractions in Bangladesh. And it is one of our national assets. So we all should be more sincere in keeping the overall environment inside the park beautiful. And those who are in charge of the park, let them be a little away from the commercial attitude, and fulfill their responsibility with more responsibility to improve the quality of service.

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujibur Rahman Safari Park is safe for all. Here you can spend a wonderful time with the animals in a very beautiful way. The management of the park is also very nice and the party is very clean. Strengthen security. This park in Bangladesh is the largest and most beautiful park in South Asia.

This safari park is one of the most popular tourist places & vacation sites in Bangladesh. It is situated in Gazipur Sadar, one can go through Bhabanipur or Bagherbazar access point of Dhaka-Mymensingh highway. It's open till 5 pm, holidays included. The communication is very good, staff of the Forest department are also very cordial and nice to the visitors. People of all ages enjoy passing time with beautiful peacocks & macaw birds or wild cats and crocodiles, whereas dappled fishes and seabirds enchanted the kids very much.

Very beautiful place. Opens at 10 AM and closes down at 5 PM, Tuesday is the weekend. Suitable for family and friends outing, study tour. There's no food place inside, so you gotta eat at the local eateries before entering the park, which is situated near infront of the main gate of the entry gate. 3 more different tickets have to be bought after entering the park for visiting museum, birds cages and core animal park. The core animal park is the main attraction, you will be taken on an AC bus and ride via that to see the animal which are roaming freely at forest like wide area (Without any cage). The birds are in an extensively large cage in where you will be able to visit and have interactions with them. The aquarium placs is alright. Museum is full of skeletons of fish, turtles, animals, snakes and mummified/made up realistic birds and animals. All in all, the place is full of greenery and great for day outing. Though visiting there from Dhaka and then coming back to are big hassles. But if you have own transportation, that will lessen the hardship.

It was a wonderful experience to see the animals roaming around in their natural habitat, outside the cages! Although the main safari, where you see the animals roaming freely, is only a 12-minute bus drive away that seems to be over before it begins. There you will see zebras, giraffes, black bears, white lions, lions and tigers. Then you can go to Safari Kingdom where you can see Macaw Land, Parrot Aquarium, Marine Aquarium (poorest part), Carp Garden, Peacock, Hornbill, Duck Garden (lake with beautiful white and black swans) and some other caged animals. This part is like a regular zoo except for the bird park. The environment throughout the park is beautiful although it could be cleaner and more attractive.

Excitement was more than what we received as due to the warm weather most of the animals were in hiding and the facility is deprived of facilitation. But over all with a little more effort it can provide the tourists with a much more wonderful experience.

Nice park but it's rides are so costly.

Bangabandhu Safari Park is a very beautiful place, with a huge area, perfect place for a day trip, there is a children's park, you can see crocodiles, snakes, turtles, many wild animals including elephants, ziraffes, zebras, monkeys and tigers, lions roaming freely. can also see many ferocious animals including bears. You will get a feeling of the wild forest in the green environment along with the opportunity to enjoy the hanging bridge, you can visit with your family and have a nice day.

It is a very large and beautiful place. There is a lot to see and everyone is invited to come and see the natural beauty.
There is a separate ticket system within the park। Tickets at the main gate of the park, separate tickets for visiting different zoos are very annoying. This increases the cost of park trips which we don't want.

This is the largest Safari park in BD . The most attractive part of the safari park is "Core safari park" ride which costs around 150 tk. They will take you in a bus show you the animals. You need to keep in mind that, the main theme of 'safari park' where man will be in a bus and the wild animals will be free. The ride is worthy and make you feel different .

Except this, there are more directories to be explored. You can easily spend a whole day inside the park. There are places to sit, eat and enjoy.

Both family and couple are seen. No bad issues / uncomfortable seen for family was noticed.

Several public toilets available inside and they are clean,usuable,maintenanced in well manner.

Only bad thing, I noticed, is there is lacj of maintenances. They earn a lot, but they barely maintain the sculptures, fountains, color contrast and other things .

A Best place for spend family weekend, joy & pleasure

Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Safari park is one the two safari parks in Bangladesh. It’s situated in Gazipur covering an area of 3700 acres of land. This Safari park has varieties of animals in open wild or semi wild environment. Although it’s one of the main attractions of the country but the Animals kept there are poorly managed. They need better and proper care in order to keep it an actual Safari park.

Fast of all I'm saying Alhamdulillah.
This is one of the biggest area's of natural park in Bangladesh.
There are lots of animals & birds here.(Like: The Royal Bengal Tiger, Lion etc.)
And also have impressive natural views.
You can visit that all birds and animals from very near.
Finally I want to say, You should never miss of visiting this awesome, marvelous place.

great place for some refreshments, but there should be a inside transportation...

Love this place...This was my 2nd time visit..
I want to visit this place again and again.. But in any festival occasion this place getting so much crowded... So keep this in mind... Happy to visit
