Pandit Atish Dipankar, a famous Buddhist missionary of Pala Empire, was born in 982 AD in Bajrayogini village of Vikrampur Pargana, 10 km away from Munshiganj district. Guru Atish Dipankar ranks after Gautama Buddha, the founder of Buddhism. Atish Dipankar's birth place or Bastvita is known as "Pandit's Vita" to the locals. It feels good to visit the pilgrimage site.

Good place for hangouts. Lots of street foods are available here. Some tea stalls also here and you can enjoy the taste of variety of Tea. Overall great place for spending good times.

Full of life. Full of street food. Jhal muri is so good. Fuchka n chatpatuli too. But be aware of buggers and thief. Crowded place. Transport facilities is too good. Suitable for thouse who want a colourful life.

A place for the remembrance of 21st February 1952. People do various programs here, people gathered here all time. Nearby tea stalls are always busy. People are busy here to meet with their friends, to pass their idle time.
