Name doesn't lie, it's really a small island, we had to go by boat to reach it, rarely seen anything like it. Loved the food, less spicy

One of the best resorts in kaptai. It is an army run resort established in the middle of kaptai lake.
1. Well decorated room.
2. Use of military boats as complementary while going to the resort.
3. Room rent for bamboo room 2500 and brick build 3550.
4. Complementary breakfast.
5. Very secured.
6. The area is quite large and one can enjoy the beauty.

A little bit of seclusion, away from the crowds. Though there are limitations in their own food menu and no wifi, it's still worth visiting, if you're looking for a quiet spot.

Had a great time there. The resort is just beside the army camp. It is operated by the army. If you go there as civilian, your expense will be too much. Luckily, two of our military officer friends joined us and we received discounted military rate for the rooms. Military rate is 1025 per room per night. Civilian rate is 4300 per room per night. Rooms are equipped with AC. Food here is very fresh. Try to eat as much of fish as possible. Explore the whole island. The view of the lake from the island is breathtaking.

Two person can stay in a room. Our military friends arranged additional mattresses and total 13 of us stayed in 3 rooms.

Awesome place with nature surrounding. Price is high but the place is very nice and safe. Ideal place for family visiting and Friend Gathering. So beautiful view of hills and lake.
Safety is very good if you're lucky you'll see wild Elephant, Monkey and other animals. If you want to get a touch of nature, you should go there. The authority keeps it properly without any harm to nature. As it is in a remote area but their security system is too good. Really it is an ideal place for nature lovers.

Excellent view and serene natural beauty. Both sunset and sun rise can be very pleasant to watch.

Lovely place; great spot for group picnic and programs. Deluxe suits for staying and restaurant are available. Would be a great place to spend a winter night bar-B-Q-ing. But there aren't too many suits/rooms. There are like 3/4 rooms.

Beautiful facility and beautiful place. There are obstacle courses which are fun to mess around on even for adults. It's good for a day trip and it looks like a beautiful place to stay as well. It's so very clean!!

Though the pricing is high. But it's best for familly tour. You can visit there at any time. But it's best in rainy season. As the water of lake will rise high. Which make the place more romantic and beautiful.
Their is no security issue as that place is fully controlled by Army. They will help you whenever you need.
The room are of good size with ac and television. They have a great hanging bridge and tree house they also have a boat cottage. On that cottage you can float on the huge kaptai lake.
Their are kids zone as well.
Moreover they have available boats for your service at any time. Their swimming pool is on another island so they will give you a ride to that island. You can ask for a boat at any time.

What a great view of the area! An unique combination of blue water and green nature. A beautiful place to stay and enjoy the calmness of nature.

A good place for holiday refreshments. As the place is under under Bangladesh Army's authority, the place is fully secured till you do any harm to yourself. They have a swimming pool too. You can enjoy that also.

It is very nice place , room outside view it is amazing. But very expensive

Absolutely amazing place to visit. This place is in control of Bangladesh Army. So, totally secured place. You have to go Jetty gate for hiring a boat to go this awesome island. It has big areas. There are also some hotel for staying at night. They also offer meals for lunch and dinner. But price seems too high to me.There is also a swimming pool. But you have to go to another place which takes 5 minutes to go from this place. The entry fee is 150 tk and to use pool you have to pay 50 tk.

It's a tourist place roles by Bangladesh army. You have to visit there by boat,cost per person 50tk . It's a small place where army take 100tk person as visiting fee. Also have residential facility and restaurant system for visitors. But the price is little bit high.

This place has a mini restaurant.It also has a playzone for kids.This island was made by Bangladesh Army. It's very beautiful and clean.There is a luxury Bojra boat in there.One can stay there as long as they want.One can also go fishing and swimming.

Lake View Island is located on Kaptai Lake in Rangamati. You have to take the boat for go there. There is a Bangladesh Army camp. So this is so secure for everyone. This is most beautiful place in Bangladesh.

We didnt have any photos or any clue about this place. But when i heard that this place is built and originated by Bangladesh Army then by heart i knew this place would be the best place to have a relax and calm holiday.
This place is total silent, cozy and the rooms are nicely decorated and you will feel the comfort of home. Also the veranda is nice. Theres a nice glass room where you can sit and enjoy the enchanting view of kaptai lake. And hot weather is not an issue at all as theres air cooler everywhere. Talking about relaxation, you will find comfy resting benches on the right spot where you can sit and just enjoy the fresh weather and view. Theres also dedicated boats that are comfortable and you can use them to have a boat ride at kaptai lake.
As this place is kinda less crowdy as not everybody is allowed, you can still relax as Army provides the best security there.
Theres also two tree house right in the shore which are connected through a thrilling hanging bridge. A glass beneath gives you the thrill.
Talking about food, you can get fresh tasty lake fish and different fish dishes. The true Bangali food.
Theres also a nice luxury yacht that you can hire and spend night on.
Overall this place is too relaxing and you will enjoy every moment. A must vusit place.
Downside is, you will have to accompany a army person to get every facility without restrictions.

A beautiful place which is fully control under Bangladesh Army. It has restaurant, hotel room for stay, swimming pool, kayaking etc. Most important Thursday is their off day, at that day their swimming facilities is off but rest of them are on.

Great place to have a vacation. Ideally located to enjoy the beauty of the lake. Rooms are just fine.
