It's a really nice place. You can see deer, monkeys and crocodiles here. You can feed the deer also. There is a quite long one way trail inside the forest area, seemed pretty safe. Also, there is a watchtower and a hanging bridge in the trail. Saw some small red crabs also. We also went a bit off-trail and found a gigantic crocodile basking in the sun just on the other side of the canal. Will not recommend this, because it's risky to go off-trail. Accidents can happen and the authorities won't take any responsibility if you go off-trail. Overall experience was quite good.

Would recommend to visit here!

The sanctuary offers boardwalks and observation towers that provide panoramic views of the mangrove forest and its inhabitants, allowing visitors to observe wildlife from a safe distance. Sundarbans Karamjal also serves as an educational site, raising awareness about the importance of mangrove conservation and the ecological significance of the Sundarbans

Karamjol is so beautiful and attractive. If you are a nature lover then this place is appropriate for you. It is a place where you can hear the chirping of birds, the songs of waves, the music of leaves and breeze, the warm reception of monkeys, the gliterring of sun in the water and many more . I wish I had a home at Karamjol. So peaceful. Keep silent and enjoy your dream if you are a nature dreamer.

I came here as part of a Sundarbans cruise tour. Really nice ecological park that has a breeding program for the crocodiles, Chital deer, turtles and more. It has a wonderful long elevated boardwalk trail that goes through the forest and to a watch tower to get an aerial view.

A glimpse of sundarban. A very good place for a short tour, family outing, dating or just hanging around with friends. Takes you to nature. There's some big crocodiles in the zoo area, where those are nurtured. And then the walkway starts and it's very amazing. Several Km of walkway is available. They have ticketing system and a moderate washroom. You can only go there by boat I think, which we can get from the Mongla Port Ghat.

They should keep it more clean. That's a thing. And of course they should arrange a washroom near the watch tower.

The Sundarbans, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a mesmerizing mangrove forest located in the delta region of the Padma, Meghna, and Brahmaputra river basins. As I explored this natural wonder, I was captivated by its rich biodiversity and unique ecosystem.

Navigating through the intricate network of waterways, I witnessed the enchanting beauty of the mangrove trees, their roots creating a labyrinthine pattern. The Sundarbans is renowned for its diverse wildlife, and I was fortunate to spot elusive Bengal tigers, playful dolphins, and various species of deer and birds. The air was filled with the symphony of chirping birds and rustling leaves, creating a serene ambiance.

The local communities living in the periphery of the Sundarbans added a cultural dimension to my experience. Their unique lifestyle, traditional fishing methods, and friendly demeanor provided insights into the symbiotic relationship between humans and nature.

While the Sundarbans showcased nature's grandeur, it also underscored the need for conservation. The delicate balance of this ecosystem faces threats from climate change, habitat loss, and human activities. My visit to the Sundarbans left me in awe of its natural beauty and inspired a deeper appreciation for the importance of preserving such precious ecosystems for future generations.

Sundaban's Karamjal is very close tourist spot to Khulna. From Khulna Sonadanga by bus to Mongla and then by hiring a trawler from the river, Karamjal can be reached very cheaply and easily. After that, you will be lucky to see crocodiles and monkeys by going down to Karamjal. After that, it is possible to travel far inside the forest through the bridge. There is a watch tower where you can climb and enjoy the beautiful view of Sundarbans.Deer will be seen and if you let deer eat leaves they will come close. Be careful of monkeys. Mosque is well arranged for namaaz. No lunch is provided here. If Ghora Ghori Shes, you have to cross the river and go to Mangla to have lunch. The most important thing is every In this case, the matter of money should be agreed with everyone. Otherwise, there will be problems later.

A beautiful place to embrace the nature while enjoying the wild life. Crocodiles, Deers and a lot of monkies are available to entertain as well as to give the flavour of the main Sundarban.
Inside the karamjol sanctuary, there is a long walkway to go through the jungle and to reach the watchtower. The view from the top of the watchtower is stunning.
Be aware of the monkies, as they are free and attack the visitors to grab food, objects etc.
Inside the sanctuary, high humidity may cause dehydration. Bring your own water and orsaline in advance to prevent any unwanted sickness.
