About 565 years old Mosque with wonderful artistic design. Without electricity there is sufficient lights in the daytime. Ticketing here, 500 taka for foreigners, 30tk for local visitors.

Sixty-domed mosque is a very beautiful historical place.
I went with my family from Barisal to Bagerhat just to see the beauty of this mosque.
The mosque was built about 500 years ago, but I still don't know who made it so beautiful. Rumor has it that Pir Khan Jahan Ali built this mosque.
Behind the mosque there is a very big lake, very beautiful.
Going there, we were all fascinated by such beautiful signs.
Everyone should go at least once in life.💛🌼🌿

The Shat Gombuj Masjid is a 15th-century mosque located in Bagerhat, Bangladesh. It is a UNESCO World Heritage Site. When I recently had the chance to visit the Shat Gombuj, its grandeur and beauty completely mesmerized me. The mosque is built of red brick and stone, and it features 77 domes that are adorned with intricate floral and geometric designs. The peaceful environment and stunning play of light and shadow that the domes' architectural arrangement produced enthralled me. It has a large courtyard, a central prayer hall, and four minarets. The central prayer hall is the largest room in the mosque. There are 60 pillars supporting the hall, and it is calligraphed and decorated with intricate carvings. They are adorned with beautiful geometric patterns. A covered walkway with columns and arches surrounds the courtyard. I also enjoyed walking around the mosque's large pond (dighi) and taking in the peaceful atmosphere. The courtyard is a great place to relax and reflect on the mosque's beauty and history.

One needs to buy tickets to enter the compound. The price is affordable, at only 30 BDT. There is a museum inside the boundary, but I found it closed. There is a small parking lot there, and one needs 1 to 1.30 hours to roam the corners. Smoking is prohibited. It has a washroom facility and wheelchair access. This place will help you to delve into the calmness.
