The Buddha Dhatu Jadi also known as the Bandarban Golden Temple located close to Balaghata town, in Bandarban City, in Bangladesh. What are the material remains of a holy person, and in this temple the relics belong to Buddha? It is the largest Theravada Buddhist temple in Bangladesh and has the second-largest Buddha statue in the country.
The Bandarban Golden Temple belongs to the Theravada Buddhism order, which is practiced by the Marma indigenous people, a dominant ethnic group of Bandarban. It was built in 2000 in Arakanese architecture, adopting the South East Asia style.
The Bandarban Golden Temple. Whenever you go please try to keep silence there because it’s a religious place for Buddhist. They do not allow you carrying shoe. Obviously you have to be cool, friendly and well mannered while visiting such religious place. People who are living there are very amiable and cooperative They do not allow you half pant. The beauty of this temple is very beautiful.

the place is beautiful in deed. But, here you need to have enough energy to ride 100 stair by foot. It takes extra energy. This not not a tourist spot, its a holy place for buddist. They will not allow anyone wearing half pant. So, if you want to visit there, be careful about dress code.

Beautiful place. Calm and clean environment. Whenever you go please try to keep silence there because it’s a religious place for Buddhist. So, follow the rules and most important thing is please try to wear thin clothes as there is too much temperature.

Amazing....... only this word is not enough to explain the beauty of this place. Its a beautiful Buddhist Temple situated on the top of a hill. Anyone can easily have a birds eye view of the surroundings from the temple premises. It is not only a spiritual place but also a historical place. There are few sculpture of Buddha which are from 7th century. More over its golden colour gives a unique and attractive look to all. Nonone should miss the chance to visit the temple once at least.....

Just stunning place with awesome view. Such a lovely temple. First to enter into the temple area tou must have to be barefoot, so please keep your shoes inside your vehicle maybe, otherwise there you could find a service for keeping your shoes safely in exchange some money. Also you have to ware some decent outfits. You can look around the temple premises but not allowed to enter into the main room of the temple. In a word it's a great place.

Magnificent temple I have ever seen in Bangladesh. Long time ago, there was stairs to climb to reach the Temple from the ground. Now, it has street to drive to the main gate of the temple. From the gate you have to buy ticket. If you are wearing shorts then you have to borrow a clothe from the ticket counter to cover your body. It’s an aesthetic religious place, so keep it clean.

The temple which is mostly familiar as The Golden Temple to everyone is located at the top of the hill at Bandarban-Rangamati highway approximately 5 km away from Bandarban city. The natural view and densely bushes around the area makes so quite and beautiful. Currently, the temple is closed for visitors due to outbreak of Covid-19. Only those who are worshippers can go to Temple.

This place is really beautiful. The temple itself is a sign of beautiful architecture. The golden color of the temple is a peace of eye. There is a big bell that is heavy. The view of surroundings from the temple is awesome. You can never forget the time spent here. There are some old sculptures which represents different life stages of Buddha.

Buddha Dhatu Jodi is also called as 'Shorno mondir' means temple of gold is a Buddhist temple at a hilltop. It's a beautiful place with an amazing scenery from the top. If you have car, you can go upto the top or you have to climb the steps. Proper manners need to be maintained while visiting the area since it is a praying zone for Buddhist people. Entry fee 30 taka per person & Car 50 taka which is used for charity. You have to put off your shoes and must cover their knees and shoulders well. Amazing place. If you have plan to visit Bandarban, this place should be in top of your list.

It's a Buddhist temple also known as The Golden Temple of Bandarban. The temple is a very nice tourist attraction. There you will have to pay 50 BDT for ticket. The temple is very niche and noticable form very far away. You can't enter there wearing shoes and shorts/three quarter. You have to be in full pant and bare footed. Very nice for capturing pictures.
