Its my own place. I work here. Its a Govt. District Head Post Office. There are lot of Upazila and Sub post office under head office. The place might not be so much friendly for others. Comparing with other post offices in Bangladesh it has much more transaction. It has become a place of secured and personal satisfaction. Though it has manpower and other logistics crisis, officials always try to serve the people with their best. This is one of the few organisation which has the record of highest amount of transaction in Sanchaypatra. It offers General savings, Fixed Deposit, Postal Life Insurance, EMS, Parcel, Mobile Money order, E-commerce Delivery, Revenue sale etc services. The construction of new and Modern building with central air condition is going on so fast. Hopefully it will be ready within next January. I am happy to get the opportunity of serving people in this office.

বহু চিঠি পোস্ট করেছি এখানে। সেই দিনগুলো এখন হারিয়ে গেছে। চিঠির যুগ এখন নাই। কত মধুর সেই অনুভূতি আজ ইট পাথরের কৃত্রিম জমানায় এসে ম্রিয়মান হয়ে গেছে। আগে একটা চিঠি পাওয়ার আনন্দ এখন হাজারো এসএমএস বা ইমেইল পাওয়া যায় না। চিঠির আবেগ এখন প্রযুক্তির কর্কশ যাতাকলে পিষ্ট হয়ে পড়েছে। আগের সেই মায়া ভালবাসার দিনগুলো কখনো ফিরে আসবে না জানি। তবুও সেই দিনগুলো জীবন্ত হয়ে বেচে থাকবে হৃদয়ের গভীরে সব সময়।
