I love Salvo charity store. You just can't go wrong with their clothing especially.
They're classic, elegant and next to new.
No bragging, but I always spend a lot at a time, because each item you pick there, worth it. I'm due to go there soon.

Quite a nice store, some items are over priced for an op shop, but can sometimes find a great bargain. Staff have always been lovely here though. Store is tidy & clean too

Store is very clean and neat but as others have also mentioned items are way overpriced. Some items are more expensive then a brand new equivalent.

There is a sign to say they are not taking any more donations. Why not sell items at a cheaper price so that stocks move faster so you can accept more donations.

Satisfactory selection and very clean
HOWEVER,
The prices are outrageous!!! They are selling fast-fashion brands like Shein at inflated prices. Found a Shein item priced for $15 when it was on the Shein website, new, for $6! I understand it is volunteers who make up the prices but there should be some sort of mediation for these ridiculous prices! Salvation Army seems to want to turn a profit instead of helping those less fortunate with the items they need.
There also seemed to be only 1 staff member supervising the entire store. Took a while for them to come to the counter as they were preoccupied with stock out the back door. I don't know about you; but i've never worked alone in a shop like this; I'm sure there is some sort of legal obligation that salvos is ignoring. If you can't roster appropriate staff; close your shop!

Customer service is good from most staff, EXCEPT one lady, who is rude and obnoxious. She’s in your face & chats back at anything and everything you say. Very poor customer service from her.
I asked another lady if I could leave a few things on the counter because I was struggling and she said it was fine, then this ‘Karen’ said ‘excuse me is this your stuff!’ to the whole store then proceeded to try argue with me saying ‘you can’t do that we need this space on here and handed me a basket and told me that’s what they are there for.
Then when I said, I did ask I didn’t just leave it there she told me the rest of the staff, ‘feel like they can’t say no to customers’ As if they are in capable. Straight out she’s just trying to be difficult, rude & create an argument.
I also asked for the receipt in case the puzzles didn’t have all the pictures, and she told me it’s a risk I take buying the items from this store and I can’t return them, again… I had already asked another lady who checked with someone else and said if it was missing pieces I could get a credit, in the most helpful polite way.
So the customer service is there, it’s just this one lady who is so bloody rude & miserable. Volunteer or paid employee, she needs to go.

Prices were pretty over priced on a few things… $35 for a pair of used boots & $10’for a small well used compact mirror for example. Bring those prices down and you’ll have a lot more sales

Exuberant prices. Why do OP shops not offer affordable clothes for low income households anymore!? Go to Kmart sooo much cheaper.

This is not a shop to help those in need like homeless. It's a shop to make money. Run by one particular ethic group.
