Ordered a set of Ortlieb Back-roller classic panniers from Velogear, cheapest price by far, and ready for click and collect same day. My experience: prompt order processing, great pricing, and good communication.

I initially thought this was a scam website since seeing all the reviews, however this business is 100% legitimate. Ordered a pair of mudguards on a Monday and they were delivered by Thursday. Great communication from the company.

I had to cancel an order due to my son receiving some skates already for Christmas. Ally was very helpful. The order hadn't left yet so she cancelled it for me and refunded me straight away. Thank you for your prompt assistance.

I was a little bit hesitant after seeing all the bad reviews here that I even doubted that my order was going to arrive but, it arrived on time, communication was on point and delivery as well.

Unlike many reviewers on here, my experience has been positive. From the day of order, it took 8 days to arrive and every item was correct. Would I use Velogear again? Yes I would.

Velogear is a fantastic online bicycle store. The staff do their best to satisfy the needs of clients. They are trying hard but it does not make it easy when reviewers give them such a hard time. I wanted Marathon Plus Tour tyres 700 x 40. They did their best to order them in for me but it looks like Schwable is no longer making them. I have dealt with Velogear since its beginning and have always been more than happy.

Ordered parts at 1:30am on a Monday for pickup. Received email at 3pm the same day that items are ready to be collected. Collected items at 9:15am the next day (Tuesday). Very happy with the way things went. The price of the items purchased was very competitive. Thank you Velogear for great service and products. Will buy from again.

Had absolutely fantastic experience with ordering from their online shop, the parcel was posted immediately and I received it very promptly. I also received a tracking number on my email so did not experience any issues tracking the parcel's whereabouts.

Got a pair of schwalbe one tle tubeless tires for my giant TCR with hookless carbon rims. Been chasing them everywhere and these guys had them in stock for a VERY competitive sale price. The only thing I can complain about is that I didn’t receive my order confirmation until the next day when I emailed them, but there’s a 50% chance that was a typo in my email which I could be at fault for. Quite happy with the service, really. Cheers

Picked up some bicycle tubes from here recently and I loved how friendly and helpful the staff were while I was there. They've also got a really good range of products you can't find at a general bicycle shop. Highly recommend it for people who like to modify or repair their own bikes.

I felt like I needed to write this review about my experience ordering from Velogear for the first time and THEN reading the reviews after ordering. Because I freaked out. After reading about the experiences others had, I was resigned to the fact that I was probably not going to get what I ordered - so here’s what happened.

I ordered a bike rack from Velogear on the Sunday of Victoria’s 5 day COVID snap lockdown. I live in rural NSW so I figured it would take a couple weeks to get here, given the VIC Gov work from home order and AustPost transport times. I ordered using Afterpay (maybe not smart in hindsight/based on the experience others have had). Straight after the transaction went through, I got a tax invoice and confirmation email. The following day, I got an email to say my parcel was Awaiting Shipment and that I would receive a tracking number within 1-3 working days... and then nothing. I didn’t get any more communication from them, and I didn’t get a tracking number (and that’s when I googled them further and found all the reviews + abandoned social media sites). I started freaking out... maybe I’d just thrown away $400? I figured given the lockdown situation, I would give Velogear the benefit of the doubt and allow 10 working days from when I ordered before I reached out to them.

On day 9, I got an email from AusPost saying that my parcel from Velogear was at the post office for collection. Surprised, I held my breath and went to pick it up. It was exactly what I ordered. A genuine product in perfect condition.

Maybe I just got lucky, but my experience with Velogear was a positive one, and I’m so happy with the bike rack I ordered!

Extremely Happy, super fast shipping, constant communications, no issues, will buy from again, this was my first purchase through these guys and was rather concerned after seeing some of the other reviews around issues, but my experience has been fantastic. Thank you very much guys, look forward to purchasing from you guys again in the future.

After having made two previous purchases, I sent away for a pair of cycling glasses. I ordered them over the Easter period and although I checked the tracking option, it didn't total in the final paypal bill. Rather than try again and risk paying twice I left my order as is, hoping it would be ok. The order failed to arrive in a short time as has been the case in previous orders. I emailed Velogear and had a number of both emails and phone calls to try and trace my glasses. I felt the staff member Ally was very supportive and did her best to remedy the situation. She even stated that I would not be out of pocket and I would get my order. They contacted Aus Post as the seller, to lodge an investigation. Two days later my glasses arrived. I phoned my appreciation for Ally's help and Velogear's good service. I will use them again and will definitely make sure that I tick the tracking option.

Found a set of brakes at a fantastic price. Order placed and brakes received within a few working days. A neat, fast transaction and the product was as described. I'll use these guys again for sure.

l bought an XOSS GPS bike computer, ordered on a Wednesday night received an email Friday morning saying ready for pickup. Picked up lunch time went home and set it up on my bike, great little computer/GPS and a great price. The only negative thing l would say is its a little bit hard to find the warehouse, using google maps, took a while. Maybe a map could be attached to the pick up email. Apart from that a good experience for me.

Excellent company. I buy most of my cycling stuff from them. Never had a problem with them. Been buying from them for 3 years now. Great customer service and great prices. If i had to nitpick, on a couple of occaisions I bought several items and they shipped it in two different packages, but that's no big deal.

I recently purchased an 8015 Bulldog Mini DT U-Lock from Velogear. It is solid, fantastic, exactly as advertised on the website and was shipped and delivered to me within the next day. Even when I had trouble leaving a review about the product, customer support was prompt and impeccable, thus my ability to leave this review right now :P

Reading other reviews, I was very hesitant to buy. So did paypal just incase.
I bought the Thule 598 racks, 2 hours later I got a SMS saying it was ready and I drove to go get it. Got there and it's around the back of a work park, got to the entrance said my name and he handed it to me. All done in 3 hours, perfection really!
I opened the box and all was there, I was super impressed with the service.
Get involved people.

Ordered a Floor Pump online to pick up at the store. Was called the following day to say it was ready. The store had it waiting along with one more item I mentioned that I had forgotten to order online. Very please with the prompt, polite and efficient service. Will definitely recommend this store for the competitive pricing, service and wide range of stock. Well done Velogear.
