Popped down for ladies night and it was a welcoming and friendly experience

Great experience. Store was alive with gamers enjoying a vast collection of games. The select was comprehensive from the obvious to the more eclectic. Foremost in the experience was the customer service. Hannah was a delight and extremely helpful. Customer service of this quality is rarely seen but greatly appreciated for the uninitiated and the expert gamer. Keep up the good work LFG.

I have an almost untenable collection of board games, and much to my wife's horror, I've found Looking For Gamers at Kambah. During Canberra's COVID response when other retailers were struggling to find the best means by which to continue trade, we found it well worth the trip from Bruce to Kambah of an afternoon, to see Charles and pick up our post lockdown gaming supplies.

It's great to stop in, chat with the staff, see the customers play and enjoy games from the extensive library of 'try-before-you-buy' games, and get some solid advice on the newest game to try, or which old classics are worth adding to the little space that's left in the Kallax.

I've visited many of the other board game stores in the ACT, but Looking for Gamers at Kambah is our most often visited. Great prices, great people and great range.

Awesome games store, with friendly staff and owner who are avid gamers so can offer great advice on games. They run lots of gaming sessions and a great selection of games to try and buy!

First time there. Relaxing atmosphere. You can go in and try the board games for hours, no questions asked. But at least buy a can of drinks as ettiquette.

Fantastic range of games, staff very helpful and knowledgeable. Staff went out of their way to provide great service. Excellent after school gaming for kids in friendly location with enthusiastic staff. Great value for money, especially for a small business.

Don't let the minimalist aesthetics fool you. My daughter amd i found this little gem while wandering around the Kambah shops and was very pleasantly surprised. A huge range of games on offer at good prices. Both times I've been in the staff have been helpful and friendly but not pushy.

The game library is a brilliant addition. My kids and i spent an enjoyable couple of hours playing a game together; i will go back and probably get this game that i wouldn't have if i didn't try first.

In a market so saturated with options i will definitely be heading back to support this business and encourage you to do the same.

It would be incredibly easy to write off this little games shop based on its location and bare bones aesthetic. It would also be a huge mistake. In what has recently become a somewhat crowded field, Looking for Gamers should stand head and shoulders above the competition for their range, their prices and their friendly, knowledgeable and welcoming staff.

If you're unsure of what you're looking for, want to try before you buy, or just want to get more into the board game community, then this is the place for you. I could not recommend it highly enough.

I've been going to games shops since the eighties, when Mind Games and Napoleon's Military Bookshop were my hookup.

Now, Looking For Gamers is my FLGS and meet every letter of that initialism. The owners and staff have a clear love of games and seem happy to chat at any time, giving you knowledgeable recommendations and information about their stock.

I'll happily spend money here rather than Amazon just so I have a place to go.

Had a fantastic experience ordering some hard to find (in Australia) games from LFG Retail. Not the cheapest prices around but for hard to find stuff it's very reasonable. They delivered quickly and purchase was easy through their online store.

A nice place to go that is local, a good variety of games with a nice selection of dnd items. I was suprised to find some of the recent releases were cheaper here than other locations. And with its location I don't have to worry about parking or getting here so I can easily spend as much or as little time as I want

I am surprised at how a small indie games store can have so much variety in games and dnd stock, have a games library, after hours activities and have friendly and helpful staff. I have had nothing but good experiences in this community of people. Highly recommend.
