TerryWhite Chemmart Warrandyte

New owners have taken over I think around Christmas time and it’s been great. Super fast service, very friendly and knowledgeable and the pharmacists went above and beyond for me.

Have been using this local pharmacy for over 15 years now.
The boys, Alex and Chris are fun, thoughtful, kind and extremely professional and knowledgeable and my family and I have built up a great relationship with them over the years.
Lucky to have such a great chemist nearby.
Great to have the GP practice just next door too for convenience.

Over many years I’ve always found the local team at TerryWhite Chemmart Warrandyte to be friendly and helpful - I can see why they are a valued part of the Warrandyte community. The expanded range of services, local convenience, and the recently expanded and updated store keep me coming back.

I've been depending on this chemist for 13 years, and they are the most reliable, friendly and local people for all your pharmacy needs. There's been a couple of weird bad reviews in Google, and I can't figure why. Go Local!!!

Chris is fabulous and the staff are helpful and knowledgeable. We are moving from Warrandyte and I will miss my friendly pharmacy greatly.

Very helpful, cheerful and supportive

Fiery Failed Pharmacist Far from Friendly

The head chemist and co-owner of this so-called pharmacy, Alex, is clearly in the wrong profession!
He has a fiery temper which is not at all suited to the care and empathy that should be involved in this line of work.
We booked in for our fifth COVID-19 injection recently. We had also checked ahead to ensure that the person who would be administering the injection would be wearing a mask. Those working in chemist stores normally wear masks as they often deal with unwell people.
We were assured that the person doing the injection would be wearing a mask or would put one on if asked. To our surprise, we discovered that Alex doesn't wear a mask and furthermore, doesn't like to be asked to wear one either! Of course, we were wearing masks and we asked nicely.
Alex was taken aback by our simple request. He accused us of suggesting that he wasn't running a safe pharmacy. We certainly didn't say that his pharmacy was unsafe but if WE feel uncomfortable and would like the administrator of the injection to be wearing a mask, this seems to be a fair enough request. The place where the injection takes place is a small closed room. Alex didn't put on a mask and actually suggested that we might want to go elsewhere for our injection!
A protracted and heated exchange of words took place in front of customers and staff. Alex asked us to leave the store!
Surprised and shocked by the attitude and behaviour of this man, we complained to Terry White Chemmart Head Office. We informed them about our experience. They were interested and sympathetic. They were also able to book a vaccination for us at another Terry White chemist that same day.
When dealing with Head Office, we eventually got onto the Area Supervisor, Chris. He listened to our story and was shocked by our extremely upsetting encounter.
Alex was way out of line in terms of being a supposed medical professional!
Alex must have received a severe reprimand from his Supervisor as he rang to apologise the following day. We are not convinced that Alex would have phoned us had we not complained to head office.
This review is being posted as what we experienced should NEVER happen to anyone!

THE ABSOLUTE WORST 'CUSTOMER SERVICE' EXPERIENCE OF OUR LIVES! :-(

Booked a vaccine appointment. Arrived on time. Was told by the older guy behind the counter at the back to take a seat he'd be with me shortly. Some 15mins later when it was apparent we had a different understanding of 'shortly' I approached him to ask how much longer. Before I could speak he just just said smugly 'sorry mate I got to clear the shop first' (i.e. serve the customers, just about all of whom that were there at that time had arrived after me). Gist was my time didn't matter and I was to wait on his pleasure for as long as it took. Well I've a job too, so I turned and walked out. Wasted most of lunch time getting there and back and waiting needlessly. I shall not set foot in another TerryWhite pharmacy again, lest I be subjected to such sheer indifference from another one of their franchisee owners or employees thereof.

Please don't ever visit this pharmacy if you require a pharmacist. The most disturbing, arrogant and awful response to a simple request/prescription. I left in tears.

I had a terrible experience here with a very rude pharmacist and will take my business elsewhere from now on.
