Hobby Habit-Melrose Park Store

After many years hiatus from building model kits, the staff here were extremely helpful in getting me back into the habit. They gave me great advice, everything from hints and tips ranging from assembly to painting. Their knowledge is very rounded, they're extremely friendly and helpful and have made my re-entry into the world of model building so much easier. I cannot thank these good people enough for rekindling the joy I have in this hobby. Great work, you're my go to people in my pursuit of an incredibly satisfying past time. And my prime supplier of all equipment and materials from now on. I very highly recommend this place as they will give any modeller ranging from beginner to the most advanced the help and supplies necessary to complete any project. Very well stocked, the place is any kit builders dream. Thanks for getting me back into something that I so profoundly enjoyed in my youth.

I just wish they still had the RC tracks out the back. It was always a great day with my friends when we would go down there and drift all day long.

I, personally collect the 1:64 Majorette models and they continue to restock and sell an amazing selection of them. Reasonably priced and a great variety, Hobby Habit is a great place to spend a lot of time perusing the aisles. Customer service was fantastic as usual, those blokes are top notch.

First time going int there today, looking at starting out in the model railway hobby, great place, only disappointment was that all the model railway section is barricaded off and you have to be escorted by a member of staff. Will definitely be back tho

Excellent customer service and Troy was the best person that has ever served me anywhere. His parents taught him something that others don't have manners and to address people as sir or madam. Some may say its old fashioned but it isn't its respectful. He also offers to carry your purchases to your car if your unable. Highly recommend this store to anyone that loves any sorts of vehicles.

Lots of cool idea stuff to buy for my son to do. They even have a big room in back for racing cars and offer bday parties.

Very happy with the customer service I received this week at Hobby Habit. I bought an RC car from them back in 2019 and had no issues at all with it, until last week when it started running a bit rough. They quickly diagnosed the issue and fixed it in a flash. They had all the spare parts required in stock and it was fixed with minimal cost. Definitely recommend them.

If you like to build model cars, planes, boats and collect scalectrix or hotwheels, you will go wild at Hobby Habit! It is piled high with amazing projects. To top it off, they now have a Scalectrix racing track room. Several tracks in one big room where you can bring your friends and your own Scalectric cars and race to your hearts content for $5!
You can hire a car if you don't own one so you can still do some racing.
Finally, they can host your kids parties in a special room so enquire about that service. Your rev-head kids will go crazy 🤪

Smashed the servo on my 1/10 short course RC. The guys diagnosed it and sold me the right part to put in. Now I can get back to smashing it again :)
