Coles Southland

This in my humble opinion is the best Coles in Victoria. I haven’t seen a store bigger than this and has more offerings available anywhere else.

The amount of gourmet sections in this store alone is so impressive that you can truly buy everything you need here and not need to go anywhere else in Southland. The Deli section is a showstopper, with its display case a marvel to behold. The They even have a kosher section, something I have never seen at other Coles. The kitchen section on the right side of the store always warrants a pop in, you have sushi, pies, pizzas, salads & other various foods ready to take away and eat.

This might be the only Coles store I honestly get excited to go.

One of the best Coles in the area. Great variety of fresh food, veg, fruits and a wonderful bakery section. Love the displays in crushed ice. Friendly and helpful staff. The only two things to keep in mind are the underground parking is not the most convenient and the checkouts can take some time on busy days.

I absolutely love COLES Southland as it is absolutely awesome! I haven't been to any other COLES as BIG as this one.. the Deli is also HUGE and divided in to separate sections as they have such a wide variety of items!

Really good store because I like there food and also I like that the store has upgraded and it is so cool and a few weeks ago Coles put a security door at the checkouts the other week anyway that’s what I like about Coles and the quality and some other stuff too.

Great selection in the deli for entertaining. Massive seafood area and a kitchen with fresh salads and hot foods.

Nice new store and always well stocked

This newly renovated store is just awesome! Have been shopping here for around 6 years now. It’s a very large store that can be super busy in the weekends which is the only annoying thing for me. It has its own kitchen with freshly prepared meals and sometimes you’ll even catch them cooking a paella or a curry in a super large pan! They’ve even introduced a small cafe style area with tables and chairs near the kitchen. There’s a good range of products and meat, fruit and veggies are generally always fresh. Store is always clean and shelves are tidy. The new Liquorland is very flash too, and also very tidy. I think the only thing I would complain about are the old trolleys which can sometimes be difficult to push if you end up with one that has bad wheels. Rotisserie chicken is also very good and properly cooked. Well done Coles Southland!!

Must be one of their flagship stores because this sucker is HUGE! And has elements I've never seen in a Coles before, like a take-away food section and tables and chairs! Really lovely atmosphere!

amazing, huge, so much variety, overwhelming, clean and modern, big fruit/veg/meat produce and bakery area. definitely check it out if you haven't. not everything is on sale and definitely can obtain certain items elsewhere.

Great store. In addition to what Coles is normally known for. There is a Liquorland attached and section for hot good and coffee. Paella’s can be found cooked in store from time to time too as well as some other great food options.

Great store love the new makeover there is a lot to choose from in here.
They have got a fresh salad bar and tables to sit down and eat.

Recently renovated again, as this is the store that Coles uses to test out new store concepts and layouts. Contains a few features other Coles stores don’t have like a “kitchen” and “fruit bar” where there is a cafe style area selling pizzas and juices and the like with some seating. There is electronic price tags with interactive advertising surrounds on the shelves, misting machines for fruits and vegetables and numerous self serve and assisted checkouts. Probably the most state of the art Coles in Australia. Highly recommended.

The staff here are excellent when asked for assistance, had a bloke looking quite busy pushing things about however when I enquired about some meat that I was having trouble locating he proceeded to look in the fridges for me before proceeding to check out the back. Didn't find what I was looking for but the effort involved with going out of his way to check was really appreciated.

Offering shoppers something somewhat of a unique experience by having a takeaway "store" within the store?! Different, but it works, grab a coffee and something on offer for a quick bite you can enjoy, either while you take time out from grocery shopping, or, on the go as you continue with your grocery run..
Choice and range on offer from the assortment of hot food is surprisingly good, although what's available at any given time varies greatly, so might not have what you're necessarily looking for and going after, but they'll likely have something else to try.
Friendly staff, plenty of space, ample checkouts, close to Westfield entrance/access to parking on the ground floor of the complex.
Piping Hot Popcorn Chicken and Potato Cakes, while on a grocery run... All made it a much better experience than expected!
