Hotel Nicholas

We had the most delicious lunch here today. Fantastic pasta dish and a scrumptious beef burger. Lovely staff, icy cold beer and yummy food all make for a great afternoon. The pub is also very interesting to look around, lots of historic information and great memorabilia..

What a lovely hotel! With outdoor seating we could enjoy a meal at the hotel with our little dog. The outdoor seating does get the afternoon sun but the staff were great and seated us in a little outdoor area around the side which was lovely with a nice breeze to keep us cool on a hot evening.
The food was fabulous and staff were friendly and helpful. 10/10 !!!!! We'll be back :)

This pub was a delightful surprise! I had the Nepalese curry and my friend had a Parma. Both meals were magnificent.
I’d skip the Pina Colada, but otherwise amazing.

We had a meal here and the staff were fab. Susie so helpful and gave our dog treats and water, and checked on us too. Food was very yummy and came out so quickly despite it being busy. Highly recommend!

We went their without a booking and was told to come back later because they were fully booked. Looking around it was almost empty. We left and a few minutes later went back in to make a booking for an hour later, the waitress then told us to come straight in. We were confused. Guy taking orders in the bar was a little difficult to understand
Food was amazing, steak was cooked to perfection 👌. We made a booking and went back the following night.

We were greeted by Lorraine (the owner) on a busy Christmas holiday night, she found us a table with no fuss. Once seated & meal ordered, Lorraine sat with us & shared her knowledge of Beechworth & it's connection with Ned Kelly. Our meal was delicious & our host was equally lovely with her obvious love of the district. If you are ever at Beechworth take your time to spend a day or two, especially a meal at hotel Nicholas.

Beautiful little hotel..

10 rowdy bartenders attended this hotel on the weekend and they did not disappoint.
Our meals all came out at the same time and were fresh and hot.
The service was amazing and the drinks are even better!

A must try, passionfruit caprioska on tap!!

This is the family go to everytime we are in town!

The atmosphere here is lovely, the fireplace was so nice to sit next to, good selection of drinks on tap and the service was excellent. The staff went above and beyond to get my girlfriend her mulled cider (which she said was delicious). Heaps of cool memorabilia around the pub, overall an excellent place to get out of the cold and have a beer

Great food and a wonderful ambience. This hotel is full of history, and the many photos all around the walls tell an amazing history of the hotel and Beechworth. This hotel is truly worth visiting.

We popped in for lunch with a baby. The young fella behind the bar wasn't sure about much but he very quickly checked with another "young" lady who had us sat in front of the open fire with a high chair in no time flat! The food was bloody good!
The atmosphere was welcoming and we got to check out all the historic photos in the dining room.

Such a great, cosy little pub!! Loved the fireplace and all the effort that's gone into the decor. Service was amazing, I ordered the mulled wine but it wasn't quite warm yet so she ran around and heated it for me so I could have some, and it was the best I've ever tried!! Such sweet service and a good range of drinks

We had lunch in the beer garden and the food was some of the best pub food we have experienced. My Nepalese chicken curry was simply delicious, the meals for the rest of my family were first class.
The beer garden is a delight and the interior decor of the pub is worth a visit just to see. It was one of the best pub lunch experiences l have had for awhile. I highly recommend this pub.

Just had dinner here on a quiet night. Friendly staff, nice food and Guinness on tap. Loved the historic photos on the walls and the timeline and information about the rich history of the area.

Food and wine excellent could not fault the chef's culinary skills and presentation of our meals. Staff were pleasant and friendly and attentive could not ask for anything more.

The Thai food on the menu is outstanding and super delicious. My two boys shared a tasty chicken parmigiana and my husband really enjoyed his steak. We ordered the dumplings to share and the Thai prawn curry (amazing!). Historic hotel with an outdoor area suitable for kids; we would highly recommend this venue, particularly the Thai food.
