Collective Beechworth

Came looking for decent coffee which didn't disappoint. Collective use local sixpence beans and have bonsoy and almond milk. The food was a great bonus as we ventured onto the lunch menu. Friendly staff.

Was just a takeaway soy chai in the setting of covid, but was absolutely delicious!! Full of favour and spice. Would love to return in the future and try their food too

The best cafe in town. Scrumptious food made with local, seasonal ingredients. The coffee is made by people who love a good coffee and it shows. The sweet treat offering inspires gluttony. The space is an aesthetic delight AND comfortable. The staff are professional, personable and easy on the eye. I don't know why I'm not there right now, come to think of it. Well that's decided. Time for coffee and cake.

Fantastic coffee and gourmet and healthy food at a nice price with friendly hard working staff. Absolute gem of a place you'll love it. Great for a catch up with friends, coffee on the go or just to treat yourself. Do be patient as things are made with love here and are worth any waiting times.

Collective opened shortly after we moved here and it's our go to. Annabelle makes the best almond milk flat whites ever and almond milk flat whites are tricky business. Her cookies are also excellent and there's often gluten free options available. Highly recommend.

We’ve been coming to Collective daily for a couple of years now and absolutely think it’s the best cafe in Beechworth. Moving here from Melbourne we were a little apprehensive about being able to source really great coffee but we needn’t have worried, after first systematically trying every place in town, Collective wins easily. They use great local beans from Sixpence and have consistently superb barista skills. It has a genuinely charming atmosphere that we always look forward to visiting.

The homemade treats are delicious (and addictive, seriously get those gluten free biscuits away from me). The food is always fresh, features local ingredients and is made with care.

Beechworth is a tourist town and as such you need to have some patience with any hospitality business, they all have to deal with running a small business with huge fluctuations in visitors day-to-day. We’ve had nothing but lovely service from Collective that has made us feel welcome in a new town where we knew literally nobody when we moved here. The owner is an absolute gem.

The retail offerings are beautifully curated too - we bought some hand-dyed linen tea towels and there is a lovely collection of artwork and other unique things to check out.

Great coffee, delicious food, soothing and warm decor and assured and friendly service - what more can you ask for? I particularly enjoyed my roast vegetable sandwich - the focaccia was absolutely primo.

Had the best coffee and breakfast here this morning. The service was wonderful and we felt very well looked after. My little girl loved the space and exploring the gorgeous outdoor courtyard. A beautiful space, highly recomended!

Came here for coffee and a feed after riding the mtb trails. Coffee and B.L.A.T were both amazing. Serving was excellent as well. Will be back next time I'm in town.
