Coffee @ Joe's

Great service, we had a big difficult order for a bunch of teachers on a short turnaround, the Order was done quickly and everyone commented on the great coffee! I'm more difficult wanting a special tea, he found a lovely apple/cinnamon one for me.
Muffins were delicious 😋 too!
Will make sure we stop in again on our next trip!

Great little coffee shop. Coffee was fantastic, muffin was worth eating. Nice chairs and tables in the sunshine. Great place to stop in on a trip to Melbourne.

This is a hidden gem and has great coffee. The owner/chef is delightful to talk to, friendly and engaging. Good food, good service and good value for money. It's just off the Hume highway at Tarcutta, so an easy stop on your travels. Would recommend.

Sort of cute little cafe in sleepy Tarcutta. Saw their nice sign on the Highway and decided we were ready for a coffee and snack. They were doing a decent trade which was nice to see. We had some lovely raisin toast. It was light and fluffy and really quite delicious. The coffee was a cracker. Rich, dark and quite seductive. Joe was very busy but otherwise doing well. His cafe is great!

What a lovely surprise!!! Beautiful decorations, well designed children's room. Clean and tidy environment with nice simple meals. Friendly and nice staff made you feel welcoming.

Always admire the cafe owners in these small and pretty towns along the highway who provide comfort food and good place for a coffee break. They are doing an absolutely amazing job to facilitate travelers to have a much easier travel. Coffee @ Joe's is one of them.

Stopped by during my drive from Melbourne to Sydney, it’s a super nice and cozy place for a quick lunch and coffee. Had a good chat with the owner, he’s very kind and friendly.

A great cafe to visit while traveling! Joe is super friendly and makes an excellent coffee and delicious chicken panini. I love the kids room; a perfect place to entertain stir crazy children and adults alike.
Lots of parking at the rest/truck stop in front. Also there is a large park and playground just next door.

Happy to find something open on Boxing Day. (other than the servo)
Very good quality food, (prices were reasonable) and excellent service.
On a sweltering hot day was so nice to find something open and was comfortable inside. Great friendly atmosphere.
Highly recommend this place.
Will stop by again on my return journey.
Coffee and Calamari salad perfect way to break up an otherwise long road trip.

Tarcutta was not on our plans to stop, however once parked we couldn’t resist exploring what this cafe had to offer..

I had a really good double espresso here to keep me going on the drive down the Hume. Nice range of tasty looking meals on the menu too. Right near the park and playground so my kids could have a runaround as well.

Sunday visit just after a bus had let passengers to wander in, so we were required to wait a little bit but that’s okay because we weren’t in a hurry. That was a great decision as we had personal, friendly service from both Joe and assistant, Ainsley and food arrived at the seating area promptly after we ordered. It was just what we wanted and we could linger and relax. Ainsley was able to chat and tell us about local activities and the atmosphere seemed very welcoming and most pleasant. Well worth the wait and we will be returning.

Staff were so friendly, welcoming and chatty! The chocolate chip banana bread was to die for🤤

The coffee was excellent, nice flavour and creamy foam on top. Tasty Banana bread and a delicious hamburger. Joe was very friendly, a good communicator and willing to please. Very friendly country atmosphere.

You need to turn off the freeway and stop here. Food was very fresh and delicious, service was exceptional, lovely little Cafe that should not be overlooked.

Coffee @ Joe’s is one of the best stops I made on the road. Joe was very helpful and friendly. I ordered a toastie and it was delicious and delivered quickly. The burger was lovely too and there were plenty of vegan and gluten-free options. I would definetly recommend diverting from te highway to visit Joe’s. It was amazing

Such a lovely little place off the Hume. Both the cook and the waitress were exceptionally nice and the food we got was delicious, especially considering how affordable it was. Definitely recommend it for brekkie/lunch on the road!

OK I don't like to admit it but I'm a coffee snob and the coffee here is worth stopping for! Have the burger and add bacon and egg your tastebuds will thank you for it! Better yet you'll be supporting local business and Joe knows how to cook up a beautiful, taste boostful burger! ❤ 🍔 ❤ ☕ ❤

P.s. Pro tip try having BOTH BBQ and tomato sauce for extra zing 🤤
