Tarcutta Truck changeover yard

I consider this as a one of the best truck stops. Its clean, plenty of parking, best place to do changeovers it’s halfway between 2 major cities Melbourne 436km Sydney 426km. Toilets and showers are maintained and up to the standards especially when 100s of drivers visit every day and night. Food van is lit as well ladies on food van always serve with a smile on their faces. For fuel and other stuff there is servo on the corner.

A great place to stop. Much better than the roadside rest stops. Green grass, clean tables and clean toilets. We used to go past but will stop hete in future.

I've got a soft spot for tyre cutter is a lovely little town and the people at the petrol station do nice chips and food

every year I visit Tarcutta specialy this rest area very clean and quite and best rest area wile you going to other cities.

Great place but certain people need to stop making huge messes and stay within there lines.. I'll say no more

Good place to take some rest and dine-in.

Good rest stop. Clean and well maintained toilet with hand soap and hand dryer. Good park nearby with picnic tables and barbecue facilities to have a rest.

Lady at the Ampol was very busy but made us 2 excellent flat white takeaway coffees . Just what we needed to help us complete a long and tiring trip safely . Thank you . 🤠

Great little ‘rest area’. Sad to see the town so unloved. Used to be so vibrant! Now no one stops. Good clean toilets that we appreciated though.

Huge area including en suite type showers. Dump point. Opposite is a wonderful but sad truck drivers memorial. DO NOT PARK IN TRUCK BAYS Free camp avail beside/behind Caltex near oval (no facilities).

Great little food truck it hits the spot at 1:30 a.m. in the morning, trading hours are 8pm to 3am Monday to Friday

Who needs TV when you've got this place. Boy you see some sights, it's better than the comedy channel lol. Plenty of room to manoeuvre and park. Showers, toilets, and a Caltex within a short walk so you can grab a hot drink and something to eat. It's not too bad for a kip either, not too noisy.

This place is approximately in the mid of Sydney and Melbourne and lots of trucks get exchanged here.
