I'd ever I'm travelling through the riverland, I always stop here. Always. I've been travelling through the riverbanks for years, and generally around Christmas and new years, and I never pass up an opportunity to step in here and grab something - anything - from their wares.
My most recent experience was travelling through just before Christmas with my family, and one of the staff members held the door for me to be able to get my double pram through the door. I was able to sit and wait for my husband and son (who were at the toilet at the time) and feed my twins while he ordered.
The staff are absolutely lovely and full of character, the food is delicious, and if you're ever travelling through, make the time to duck off the main drag and duck into the bakery, it's absolutely worth it.

The saussage roll was pretty good

Had a bacon and cheese pasty. Thoroughly recommend. Did not have anything else. But would come back for another pasty.

Our local bakery - we are so lucky to have these guys up the road. Mick sure knows how to bake, and the staff sure know how to make a coffee- but Mel, she knows how to get ya laughing! Such great service (even letting us phone ahead). If you ever come though Paringa/Renmark you must pull in for the road trip bakery stop! ☕ 🥧

Absolutely amazing service and delicious egg and bacon roll. Lady stated it would be the best egg and bacon roll 😁 we would have to agree, it was amazing and wish the drive from Ballarat wasn’t so far to get one every weekend 😊

Fantastic fruit buns like bakeries used to make. No one makes better real buns nowadays. They actually use bun-spice in their buns!!! 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍
Everything else from other bakeries is just a bread roll with icing😩😩😩. Please keep up the great work.
Their pasties and sausage rolls are also excellent. A good bakery is so rare nowadays.

Lovely bakery. Smells amazing with all the beautiful baked goods. I had citrus tart, hubby had a meat pie, delicious! Staff were fantastic, very attentive and friendly. A must visit. Thank you for looking after us!

I have never tasted such good sugar cinnamon donuts before. And the Pasty was full and you could taste the pumpkin like you should. Delish

I don't normally do reviews, but this place is too good not to brag about. The whole experience was magical. Firstly, the staff were really friendly and helpful and the food was fantastic quality. I ordered one of their burgers with the lot. The burger bun was extremely fresh and the burger patty was the thickest, juiciest patty I've seen on any burger ever. My mate ordered a pastie. He loved it so much that he immediately ran back for another. Can't wait to stop back here on my next trip to Victoria.

We had lunch at the Paringa Bakery. Food was excellent, especially the besting and vanilla slice. The shop assistant was so helpful and accommodating. Highly recommended.

Highly recommend a stop here for lunch. Loads of different foods both hot & cold, delicious cakes and meat pies to-die-for!
Could have more Gluten Free options but overall great service.

Great food and service, easy parking with a van on the back.
